Why Bitcoin dip today, just before the Segwit2X hard fork? Normally, a fork only rises the Bitcoin price.

And the price of SegWit2x in https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/segwit2x/#markets also drops heavily.

Also?
That whatever coin has crashed more than 50% in a day.

The dip has nothing to do with segwit2x, is just the usual bouncing , with volume being 2x lower than during the last drop on 22.
It's the holidays, slow fiat transfers and the usual fud about txs that affecting the price more.

Also, can somebody point to the ann tread of BX2? I wanna laugh a bit

it has nothing to do with Segwit2X fork, the price dip is because too many bitcoin are being sold and some big investors are cashing out

Bitcoin is now in the fall phase, a bearish trend, so do not worry, all of his movements are logical at the moment. About B2X It should be taken into account at least that it is futures and not coins.

Price decreased some minutes after block of fork.
I think when there is a fork coming, the price of bitcoin increase before it and decrease after it.
It happened in bitcoin cash fork, bitcoin gold and today.

From the past 5 days this is the reason to find the bitcoin value dipped in the price chart. Since they launched it today, we have found the bitcoin value dumped around 15% percent value in the price graph. In some you will find the bitcoin value recovered in the price chart. Segwit team gonna manage the 11x algorithm, powerful secured transaction and transactions will 4+ times faster than we are seeing now. So all sets up now. Next phase is to find the big bump in the bitcoin. Go ahead to invest on bitcoin soon.

We cannot attest if the drop in bitcoin price was due to the fork that is currently happening because couple of weeks ago bitcoin value is really on a fluctuations moment and it really pump and dump so hard that we can't anticipate when it will go pumping like it use to last few months. Really bitcoin at this moment is unpredictable and this isn't because of any fork I guess this is somehow an adjustment in the value before closing of year 2017.

bitcoin is falling in small increments in the last few weeks or so. I think that before new year its gonna plunge to around 11-12k, possibly 10ish. people are cashing out and i think people will cash out just before a fork too. im trying to invest in other cryptos at the moment because its smaller risk and possibly better long term as it has a chance to shoot up and is more affordable for the masses.

No it's dipping because bitcoin is likely to have a two legged correction down to at least $10K.

The OP asks a good question and i think that people want to buy B2X by selling BTC but the
fee of $40 to shift BTC to the exchange is far to high but really i want people to sell B2X to crash the price
so that i can stack up on the cheap.

Unconfirmed and false rumors that the South Korean government plans to ban bitcoins and crypto-exchange exchanges, led to a noticeable reduction in bitcoin prices.

i think because many peoples sell it immediately because the free distributions , but after that he will go up again like BTG

But how do they get the B2X to sell it so quick because no wallets will work with it yet
and it will take weeks to get the nodes up running and tested so how can you sell what
you don't have or am i missing something

by this dip for there is a lot of negative news that are spreading for here people that are lack of knowledge then they are able to think a lot of negativity but for me i may know that someday it may recover and this is normal the price is moving and there is nothing to worry about.

I dont think it is dipping from it, just a normal day in cryptocurrency. I wouldn't worry about it if you are investing in it, and especially if you believe in the future of bitcoin.

Bitcoin is still on a correction and look on how the market is affected with it. Most of the coins in the marketcap is affected and this is not because only of segwit2x but this is a major correction that is happening and all of those coins are included.
