I have 15 Block Erupters on 3 hubs in Windows 8.  CGminer crashes if I add more than 13 to my .bat file.  It doesn't matter which 13 I run, they work.  However whenever I go over 13, I get an error that says "cgminer-nogpu.exe has stopped working"

I'd appreciate any ideas about how to get them all working. :-)

Well I ended up starting another instance of cgminer for the last two erupters and that took care of it.  Kinda a pain though.  Is there a limit of 13 in cgminer?

Use 3.3.1 and ditch the aiscminer settings in the batch file and/or conf file. Not needed.

The display on the windows console does lovely crashes when you have too many devices to fit on it on that older version. Make your command prompt window larger (right click on the command prompt window toolbar and you'll find the settings for the window height).

Exactly what I was looking for.  :-)  Working great now!  Thanks!  :-)

For others who have this problem.

Right click on the command prompt toolbar choose defaults, layout tab, & increase windows size height.

disclaimer:  I haven't upgraded from 3.3.1, linux didn't have this issue.

CGMiner-nogpu -o <pool stuff>

Edit: Thats for versions of CGMiner past 3.1.1.  Currently using 3.3.4 myself, but had no issues since 3.3.1.

After much headaches with various versions of cgminer, I switched to bfgminer, and it's been smooth sailing since. Running 11 erupters.

Im running 38 on single unit with BFG.

This is what I have in my batch file.
Code:
bfgminer -o stratum.bitcoin.cz:3333 -u CrashX.imgod0 -p fuckyou --disable-gpu -S all

Also go with Slush's Pool I have try BitMinter (which is my failover) but I get more luck and more payouts at Slush's.

Batch file for BitMinter using BFG
Code:
bfgminer -o stratum+tcp://mint.bitminter.com:3333 -u CrashX_imgod -p fuckyou --disable-gpu -S all
