Ripple is not the cryptocurrency in the future because there are more cryptocurrency out there that is better and not under control by the banks. Ripple is one of their vehicle to regain power over cryptocurrency. And i believe it will never happen again because Mellinials hate banks. In terms of features Ripple is already obsolete and only use for payment transactions.

I think not.  And it's better not to risk investing in Ripple.  It is better to invest in other good coins.

There is a solid amount of chance of this happening in the near future. Because all altcoins that are crowd funded has a fair chance of becoming an official currency in the near future. However, because ripple is still controlled by big banks in the industry, I don't think it would give us a bigger benefit in terms of overseas transaction like how decentralized coins could.

Ripple is cenralized currency. It suits to banks industri but not for cryptocummunity. Bitcoin is the best, the privacy and the decentralization in bitcoin are the attraction. Low rates of fee with lightning network and the price that is high. Btc will still be the best in next few years.

Ripples have very serious flaws that prevent it from becoming the most popular cryptocurrency. First, it is centralized. Secondly, the number of emitted tokens is so great that the coin value can not exceed 1.5-2 dollars. Otherwise, capitalization will be too big.

Maybe one of the cryptocurrency in the future but not the main cryptocurrency because bitcoin is still the king of crypto. There are also new altcoins that has better feature than Ripple while Ripple is only designed to use for payment and transaction in the bank which can also be done by all  cryptocurrency.
