The title of this topic attract me to read some other member comment in my point of view the year 2018 give some challeges to the people who wants to create project and for all altcoin.
We cannot predict if Dogecoin will rise in the year of the dog if can only tradable in short period of time but the good thing that I love Doge is the transaction are too fast and the fee are also low if you compare to btc right now.

That's interesting cause of Doge coin was created just like a joke and a parody, but it still survives. This case of Doge is unique, but I doubt that it is going to be popular with years, people will move to other coins which idea is more perspective.

I'm pretty sure the "DOGE" coin is just a meme coin that people have actually put in a large sum of money in it, thus creating its current value. In truth, it doesn't really have anything else to offer but to display that investing your money, if a lot of people pour into it, can create great amounts of VALUE. Lol!
