Why all this talks about a bubble, if bitcoin is a bubble it could has bursted long ago if the price of bitcoin drop to as low as 0.00 cent it has not still bursted because it will still rise again as long as bitcoin is still listed in the exchange market. A bubble is just the same as ponzi scheme which do not have any value in the exchange market but are just play mind games on the people and can burst out of existence at any point in time, bitcoin price will continue to fluctuate because there is what we call price control in the exchange market if a price of a commodity goes high in the market it is expected to come down in other to correct the chart. And also under that bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies are so volatile in nature and at that their price is not stable.

I think bitcoin will continue to fluctuate, because of the limited stock of bitcoin while market demand continues to rise, this is one of the properties of bitcoin, so whoever is careful then he will gain
Its fluctuation, it will continue to rise and fall. But I can't imagine why only ETH is the only coin that is surviving this bloody weeks, it has been seen before that bitcoin is the only coin that survives when the whole market of altcoins is bloody but now it's only ETH and few alts that are surviving and it was very hard pullover for bitcoin. So this is the cause of the error that was made of CMC while removing a korean exchange?

All my time spent in crypto has proven that every coin is susceptible to fluctuations and this is because of how it is marketed. Buyers and sellers keep on changing prices and that fluctuates the trade price. But one thing I know is tgat the price of bitcoin eventually rise even after fluctuation but we just dobt know that moment it'll hapoen. Thats my opinion

Will bitcoin price ever cease to fluctuate so hard? I mean currently it seems as if it's fluctuating just because of the trends among people who believe that investing into bitcoin, given some time, is 100% profit. But what if the so called bubble would burst, shouldn't the price get more stable?

Fluctuation is very normal trend of bitcoin no one can predict and judge the exact situation about the price stable of bitcoin because it is like a bubble. when we go on an investment just be aware your self or accept whatever happen of your investment because this is not a bank that profit become huge and large income after so many years. Although bitcoin much better income than bank or any investment but you just need being wise if you want to raise a big income

I can say, bitcoin price is very unstable this past few days. Before last year ends, bitcoin price takes a boom in meeting a higher value and until now is recovering to surpass the ceiling price.

Will bitcoin price ever cease to fluctuate so hard?

We cant hide the fact that a lot of people join bitcoin because of its fluctuation, well its a smart move to gain profit for doing nothing at all.
Yearly bitcoin will fluctuate at an abnormal state (what they call bull run), this fluctuation is the main reason why bitcoin become so popular.

But what if the so called bubble would burst, shouldn't the price get more stable?

After the bubble has burst gradually bitcoin price will become stable, it doesnt happen overnight or even a week for it to become stable.
It will took 2-3 months for bitcoin to have a stable price at the market.

Bitcoin price is fluctuate because many investors are investing bitcoin. Anyways that is the natural attitude of bitcoin. Every second is very important, it could be low or high. It will be fluctuate when it is Christmas because many investors use their money to celebrate not to invest for awhile.

In fact in recent weeks its price has remained fairly stable. I think we could see a less volatile bitcoin throughout this year once the big investors will be looking at the bitcoin long-term returns, seeing in the bitcoin rather a reliable store of value, which will gradually lead to a more mature and less volatile market.

What do you mean stable? Its fluctuates between $15,000-$17,000, so I don't think it will be fairly stable. What we have seen is just a bearish sideways movement, but its just the way market works. It can never be stable because the market can be manipulated anytime by whales, though not as clear as before, and its based on speculation. But I have to agree with you that bitcoin is now becoming a investment portfolio of sort. People throwing money at it and just let their bitcoin sit on your wallet for a long time. This is now what bitcoin becomes to, store of value and not the micro payment that we want it to be. That's why I believed that it will not be accepted as mode of payment in most retailers online.

In my opinion, why bitcoin keep fluctuating it is because of some early adopters, spreading headline news stories that produce fear in investors that might shutting down some high-profile use of bitcoin that may affect the value of bitcoin turn into drop ut down. Because many investors had panic and make a decision to let withdraw all their funds in bitcoin.

Yes, a bubble, but in a bucket filled with bubbles, if one bursts, there will still be a bubble. So if Bitcoin is a bubble, there will always be a bubble after the current one bursts. Well it is not a bubble, the fluctuation is just a normal thing that always happens.

Bitcoin always fluctuates evertime it is always happen because of the traders who buy and sell their btc. Yes some do panic due to price is going down. But, when we see the previous history of bitcoin it will rise again for sure. There are more users who truly believes in bitcoin.

Bitcoin is always like this, the price now is volatile and as i said bitcoin price is always fluctuating. And because of that many trader sells their btc so easily due to the panic that was brought down by bitcoin, maybe the reason of the fluctuation is because of some negative comments about bitcoin??

A week or two weeks ago, Bitcoun flactuation was wild. It dropped it's price signinifantly making others sell their bitcoins (panic selling) and good thing not everyone or not a big number of bitcoin holders followed. And now it is slowly going back to high price. That fluctuation, I think and I real also to others' opinions, is because of the Christmas season. People might have needed cash and sold their bitcoins maybe to use for the holiday, giving gifts or traveling.

I have observed as well that the increase in the value escalated really fast the time when it is reaching the month of December and vice versa it drop down drastically. Which is one factor is one stated above as what think. Also by the time that it was flying up high which is very unusual for others and i guess the highest peak it reached recorded, people are kind of nervous when it drastically dropping down because of the "popping of the bubble" thing. Well in fact i think will never happen.

Fluctuate so hard?
It's a common thing in crypto-market, even for bitcoin which has the highest price, people aims to get profits by trade bitcoin and altcoins, hence, it's inevitable. Bitcoin won't stop to fluctuate as long as there is the demand for bitcoin, there will always people who sell bitcoin and vice versa.
The nature of bitcoin price is constantly increases, but recently, bitcoin fees makes people looking for an alternative coins to invest in, and others can't be patient for bitcoin to increase, which makes them prefer to cash out and allocate the funds to altcoins.

I'm afraid so..
Its true that Bitcoin price and transaction fee is not normal and change in a matter of hours,
But a bubble? might be but not guarantee bitcoin will become more stable

I don't think the fluctuation will stop and maybe it is the reoson why traders consider Bitcoin as the best market to invest in.
A good trader can easily make 10 to 50% profit in a day.
Bitcoin, being a "new" decentralized cryptocurrency, is heavily attacked by governments, banks , whales... besides, with the growth of the community, new problems appear. All of that leads to fluctuation.
Personally, its the good thing i liked the most with bitcoin. Its price fluctuates. Even I just kept my bitcoins in my wallet, good thing it will increase eventually. Even though if the price will drop sooner or later i dont have to worry, besides it will recover right away. I believed if bitcoin price drops it wont totally to the extent that it will lose of its value. Patience is still the most important when bitcoin price fluctuates.

The price will only get stable as more people join in, and more money gets into the market. That's why I think ETFs and every other means that could bring institutional investors are a good thing for bitcoin, even though they probably don't care about bitcoin potencial, and are coming in just for the trading opportunities. If we get a lot of liquidity, it will be much harder for one person or a group of individuals to change the market, so BTC will get more stable.
