This end of last year had been so amazing for all altcoins and bitcoins. In the start of December, we have seen a drastic change in bitcoins prices but then in the middle prices were went down. Later in the ending ten days of December prices started rising with much speed and this was the time when New Year comes and people started selling bitcoins for shopping and travelling around the globe.

In my opinion, if you purchased bitcoin before new year and hold it for a while then for sure you earned big amount without making an effort. Litecoin is also worth of buying for because it also has its potential to increase its value but it will take a long of time before it meet what all of us want. Before end of the year, there’s a dropping value of bitcoin and if you bought some of it then you are lucky enough for making a right decision. As of now, I don’t know what the cheapest exchanges in deposit are. You have to search for it.

The best time is on the middle of December holidays as what happened a big dropped in prices because of converting to cash out for the feast.. There’s a gap between those date that before new year a slight change of price of bitcoin can cause panics and aftermath a speeding frenzy there is a limited space for buying more to hold,, so take the middle as what I’ve done..

After new year is the best time to buy again bitcoin and other coins that is in demand in the market, so for me that is what I am loving right now to earn as much as I can with regards to buying and selling coins, I don't waste my money in some stuff that doesn't care about my future.

Not complete newbie. Have a coinbase account but gdax still has yet to approve me been a couple weeks sent all docs multiple times and no response from the support. Been using binance and seems to be a pretty good platform to trade with, but just recently ive been looking into expanding my portfolio and spreading my coinage to maximize my options and potentially maximize gains.

as my assessment on the OP i think he knows more that what we are so better thing to do is just put ideas here and let Him find what are those things that he might not know or he might not having..

I really do not understand why you would have to be picking periods to invest, as long as you have money and you are going to be holding for long, and then you should just buy.

You should even have counted yourself lucky if you did buy since you would have gotten on a dip. Right now, the king is back and if you have not, you better do now.

But things will never be too late with bitcoin.Even if you missed the cheapest bitcoins last year,you still have all have the chances to purchase today as long as there are funds available.The current price is starting to gain back slowly its high price so if you plan to buy now,then grab the chance because for sure there will be bigger profits waiting for you at the end of the road.Risky maybe but believe me,the profit you'll get is really worth the wait.

If you buy now its a good for you if you already money to buy then if you buy next year,there's no change the price of bitcoin that you want to buy.it depend on you every time is the best time if you have money to buy bitcoin and litecoin.

Right now, bitcoin is showing a very great chance to move to the upward trend with some little chances of some quick test of the previous support or possibly just breaking upwards.

Buying now is a good option for those who have missed the chance by asking too much questions on when to buy when bitcoin took a huge dip. Hope they have learnt their lessons not to always wait for too long if they are eventually going to be investing for the long run anyway.

Since we are already in a year 2018, I just wonder did you    buy bitcoin before the end of the year because if you did, you are earning money without making lots of effort  due to the fact that you only did is to buy and hold it for a while. The bitcoin price right now is high and it seems that it will keep on aiming high. And to those people who bought bitcoin when it is in dumping point then you guys are so lucky in making right decision. If I only had enough initial capital then for sure I bought bitcoins that time too.
