Dude, there is 53.8% difference between 1.3 and 2 BTC. Just stop mining it if you can't sell it.

We need to make a give-away thread.

Who is up to the task ?
I'll provide 1000 MEG from the revolution pool grant (witch is now becoming the supporter of memorycoin, since it's original aim are fullfilled).

How much MEG do you think we should give each person claiming for it ?

The thread should specifies CPU only and easy to mine.

Seems to be little chance of a revival.

Anybody interested in collaborating on a restart?

You have decided to quit the Coin leaving all your supporters behind and left it
Now you have decided to jump right back???
and looking for supporters???
I hope you find them.

I did my best to correct the course of the coin when it was clear it was running into trouble. Ultimately I wasn't able to do that and I quit when it was clear to me that it had failed. I'm not going to waste anybody's time with a coin that is going nowhere, and you shouldn't expect me to waste mine.

Expect exactly the same thing from a relaunch - either we manage to create the virtuous circle (grant->more development->higher price->bigger grant->more development ->higher price->....) and the coin grows exponentially or it dies and I move on. I'm not interested in creating another shitcoin that potters along and wastes everyone's time and energy. If that's what you want, there are plenty to choose from. But if I'm involved, it's going to be a high risk/high reward proposition.

OK, so just a thought. As the previous incarnation was brought down by people voting to give grants to themselves, why not use that as the basis of a new scheme? Something along the lines of splitting a grant between the voter and the development pool. Lots of people getting a little for themselves, and the development pool getting lots of little payments.

Sounds interesting - can you explain your idea a bit more. Do you mean a reward for voting?

I like the idea : you use the vote system and get a little bonus as you help the dev.
