it may happen, if later bitcoin is no longer used for some reason then bitcoin will no longer be valuable and its price will decrease or even not sell

Even if you use Bitcoin through Tor, the way transactions are handled by the network makes anonymity difficult to achieve. Do not expect your transactions to be anonymous unless you really know what you're doing.

The only thing I believe can cause the fall of Bitcoin is community giving up on it. When bitcoin stops becoming useful, or people prefer to use other currencies to transfer or hold money it could very well become worthless. But I do not see that happening anytime soon or ever in the future.
Bitcoin will probably never really fail in the sense that it is basically a household name by now and isn't going to be losing its community anytime soon. A majority of people probably don't even realize that there are a ton more cryptocurrencies that exist and they think Bitcoin is the only one, or at least part of a very limited group. It also rolls off the tongue and is a lot easier for someone to remember than "Ethereum", and "Ripple" isn't something most people would be able to associate with the crypto easily. But what do I know, I'm just some pleb on the internet.

For me possibly to yes. History is littered with currencies that failed and are no longer used, such as the German Mark during the Weimar Republic and, more recently, the Zimbabwean dollar. Although previous currency failures were typically due to hyperinflation of a kind that Bitcoin makes impossible, there is always potential for technical failures, competing currencies, political issues and so on. As a basic rule of thumb, no currency should be considered absolutely safe from failures or hard times. Bitcoin has proven reliable for years since its inception and there is a lot of potential for Bitcoin to continue to grow. However, no one is in a position to predict what the future will be for Bitcoin.
Yes your concern is right as no one in this world can predict what will happen in the future in not just currency but in all aspects of life.In past many currencies has dissolved but these currencies where individual hasn't had any other option but it is not the case with bitcoin as it has alts to cover.Alts are the one which stables the bitcoin in critical situations. Believe it or not if bitcoin goes down the whole crytocurrencies goes down .This market is not run by people who started this but it is run by new people who invest in it. New people who invest even in alts does with a trust that they have in bitcoin.Bitcoin is brand of whole crypto company and if this goes down it it is a downfall of whole crypto world. Which is unlikely to happen.

It's possible for bitcoin to become worthless. Not only bitcoin but other cryptocurrency too but the chance of that happen into bitcoin is really small right now. If you look at the bitcoin price, bitcoin stay strong right now. Bitcoin become worthless if the value dropped so hard back to $3k or even less. There must be something big happened if bitcoin become worthless.

Of course, no one can predict the future of bitcoin, no one knows what will happen to us tomorrow ... But I doubt that in the near future bitcoin may die.

It is very unlikely that bitcoin price would go down to zero. The price of crypto coin is mainly affected by three factors - technical value, popularity and the big organization or giant whales behind it. For bitcoin, it has another unique feature - first one. So, I bet it will at least keep the current high value in the future. However, if you are talking about other altcoins, they depends on those factors. Many of them have multiple competitors serving the same issue. Thus, their prices are not guaranteed to maintain since they may be gradually out of the view of the public. Smiley

Nobody can precisely predict whether the value of bitcoin  could go to zero or millions or not since it is a new currency and globally popular. The currency is yet in development stage and this makes it really difficult to predict its worth. The possibilities are on both the sides and I strongly believe that bitcoin has  more potential to succeed and be worth of millions. The possiblity for it to depreciate in price might come true if the currency does not solve the current problems such as huge fees and confirmation delay but I believe that the lightning network will solve these issues.

Yes and No. Bitcoin is mostly like life without someone value you, in time you feel worthless. Romantico. But seriously as this point in time that is totally a no, no. So take your negativity out of your life as it is a new year for cryptocurrency and 2018 new increases will continue.

I think it's far off because once the value of bitcoin costs once the investors are buying it and for sure it's too big for them to increase the price because now, its price is high and I think it's not possible to lose the bitcoin price because nowadays there are many who trust it, and it's legit all over the world.

Many currency failed because it is not accepted by the people. Any currency become valuable if people believe that is has value. That is the concept of money. If people do not have confidence in a certain currency, nobody will invest on it, then it will failed. Those currency fate will not gonna happen in bitcoin? Why? Because it is widely accepted and many people have confidence in bitcoin. This is proven on it's growing community. Many people testify that they earned from investing bitcoin. Plus the fact that many people predicted that it is the currency of the future. So, bitcoin will never become worthless.

Of course, yes. That is very possible. We are talking of possibilities here. And if we talk about possibilities, there is no telling which one will happen or not. Everything's pretty much possible, my friend. But as to how possible is possible, that is something we can discuss about. For Bitcoin to become worthless, it is enough that the people supporting it will withdraw their support. As easy as that. Bitcoin is not representing anything at all but the support of these people. And if this support is gone, Bitcoin will also be gone. But as of now, the support is getting stronger.

Bitcoin is a method of payment and a digital currency that was launched in 2009. It has been described as “cash for the internet” and the price of all bitcoins in circulation currently amounts to USD 1.5 billion. One of its key features is its decentralized structure that prevents regulation of the currency by a central authority or bank. It is this aspect of Bitcoin that is trumpeted by Utopian libertarians who see it as the embryo of capitalism without regulation or control, a dream that is already being scuppered by the realities of the modern world.

Others see Bitcoin simply as an opportunity to get rich quick and then get out before the bubble bursts, and in that sense Bitcoin paints a microcosmic picture of the nightmarish short-termism and irresponsibility that is the hallmark of capitalism in decline. It is hardly surprising that such a phenomenon should take off in the midst of a global crisis of capitalism.

According to some, the technology pioneered by Bitcoin and other so-called crypto-currencies is potentially game-changing when it comes to online transactions, with as much potential for a revolution in payment processing as Napster was able to achieve with music downloads. However, what is already becoming clear is that this technology can never be used to its full potential under capitalism: to really unleash the power of technology in all fields, not least in online transactions, we require a socialist plan of investment in technology and a plan for the use of technology to develop the economy in the interests of need and not profit.

There are high chances that it may become but still people are buying it and trading it because of its growing demand. The only problem is regulation which has to be taken care of to be in the market for long time. Still all depends on the financial institution mindset as well. Let's hope for the best.

If you look at the percentage of the global population that is currently involved with crypto it will probably be less than 1% but it is gaining ground and awareness so if that number even doubles to 2% think about how much new capital that will bring into the space. Everyone researching crypto has heard about Bitcoin and it is likely the first place they will think of investing so for now I don't see any chance of BTC = $0
Moreover, until now, almost all altcoin is integrated with BTC when traded. Opportunity bitcoin to be worthless is very small. However, the odds of being replaced by another Altcoin as the king of cryptocurrency may occur.

In theory of course it can become worthless, but i dont think that it is something will happen, his market is way to big to fall.
beside of that, i think that with the lightning transactions it will start be really useful.

I think yes. In our world there is nothing permanent, so bitcoin can become useless. Maybe come in sight another crypto currency, which will be better than bitcoin. Anything can be, it's hard to predict what will happen in the future.
