It really depends what you are looking to do. All indications are that in the longterm, Bitcoin will continue to gain in value from its current position. If you're looking to speculate on up-and-comers, the most important thing is - RESEARCH - particularly if you're looking at altcoins. Is the dev team active? Are their goals realistic? Find something that has a resonance with your beliefs about the future of crypto (if you have any).

When the whole market is in a drawdown, you can buy almost any coin. I advise now to take ADA and TRON and CIVIC from cheap coins. And Waves STRATIS of expensive coins

Yes a lot of good coins are there for trading and investment but i think it is totally depending on your investment, if you have good amount of money and can support to invest a good amount of money, then Etherium is the best choice for investment and getting a good profit in return in a short period of time. But if a person can afford only a limited amount of money the there are so many cheep altcoin with good potential to invest their money there. |

As the rates of all cryptos are on the downward trend, I advise you to invest in BTC, ETH as well as USDT and hold until the market rebounds and you invest in the other altcoins. Should spend in the top 20 altcoins to always earn huge profits from it. Moreover, primarily invest in XRP because in the future it will be a very big potential crypto.

The true answer here is nobody knows for certain, and it's always best to "do your own research"... or "DYOR"
When I am trying to determine if I will be investing in a new coin I try to learn as much about it as possible. I start with this list of the top 100 or so coins (keeps growing) that have very simple explanations. If I am interested in the problem they are solving, I dive deeper into the coin.
Its great too because you can search by category. Lately, I have been most interested in social and platform tokens.

My suggestion is buy monero or bitcoin cash.
1.Bitcoin Cash - is an example of an evolved cryptocurrency that is ready for real world use and able to cater the retailers needs.
2.Monero- is an open source and 100% completely private and anonymous block chain base currency.
That is my own suggestion and opinion.
Bitcoin Cash is scum coin, korean pumped scum.. But Monero is good and very useful coin. If you think monero is good as you said that and then for me it's just like another coin. Mainly crypto already used an algorithm to encrypted the transaction and then make it becomes untraceable. As long as monero still traded in the centralized exchange and it's unuseful.  |

I will suggest ripple. Since it is the most popular altcoin aside from ethereum . And a very competitive price in the market. Aside from that it has a lower and faster transaction than bitcoin. And I believe that it has a bright future a head.
But asid from ripple you can also do some research so you could have some option before you make an investment.

I would prefer ethereum to buy. Though the price is quite high, as well the growth is predicted to take place high with ethereum by this year. Also more projects being developed on ethereum smart contract platform too will support with the growth of bitcoin.
