Currently Etherum,Ripple,waves,monero are best option for long term investment or trading.If you want to hold for long term do not invest at one place diversify the investment it will allow you minimize the risk.

It is actually very difficult to say which cryptocurrency is the best for an investment or best to buy.It is wise not to only invest in one cryptocurrency, but to diversify so your winnings can make up for your loses.You need to diversify and do your homework researching the team behind the cryptocurrency and what is special about it. You certainly don’t want to invest in something that is just there to speculate and don’t offer something different like technical improvements over another coin.In my opinion aside from bitcoin and ethereum,you should consider investing or buy Litecoin,NEM and ripple.That most likely I can suggest for you. |

I think almost all coins are buyable now but firstly you can buy Ethereum, NEO, OmiseGo and INS Ecosystem. We all know Ethereum, Neo and Omisego but why do you suggest Ins Ecosystem?
As you can see people only tell you coins they hold, they don't even explain why you should buy. |

You should try creating or checking on binance to see the if there were altcoins you could prefer there because you can analyze on the trader there where your preference are. Whether you are a short or long-term investor person you could definitely enjoy this.

Visit coinmarketcap, see list of coins and their volumes as well how the graph goes, there are many alts to invest, those coins that are have potential and now in drops, try to buy them and hold them till they pump, I just bought before SIA and VRG just waiting for its pump. |

I think dev is a good currency to buy now bitcoin, eth, ripple, and neo. because this coin is very good and has enormous potential in the future. you have to hold some of these coins because these coins will greatly benefit you. |

If you don't know what to buy, first, buy a certain amount of bitcoins Second, buy some of your favorite altcoin. Third, choose 1-2 ICO projects to invest. My favorite altcoin is etherium so i am holding that altcoin till the price reach my goal. Ico project also good if we want quick and high profit with high risk behind. Risk taker is the person who will be success. |

I don't think OP will buy any crypto-currency. He asked the question and ran away. I don't think he has any money to invest too. People still reply to OP though, it has 16 pages of replies. Everybody say coin names in their portfolio. You can't find the best coin like that. You should look out for independent analysis posts. Every investor is also speculator at some level here. I always make my own decisions. I hold NEO and find it too cheap today. If you want to buy NEO please make your own research first. Just because I hold NEO doesn't mean it's the best option for you.

You will be confused by the number of altcoins that are scattered now, very different from the previous years. Just look at coinmarketcap, so you can see what coin is convincing to you invest.
Which is why the best coin to invest in if you are a newbie is bitcoin, yes it is expensive and it is the most common advice but with the huge amount of coins out there it can be really confusing for a newbie to understand which coin should he buy under the current conditions of the market but a good coin to buy no matter what happens is bitcoin. |

I will choose bitcoin and eth because both coins are very stable and promising for short and long term. and I will invest 70% to bitcoin and 30% to eth because these two coins have great potential in the future. so I would prefer to hold both these coins for both long and short term. |

well i think that BTC is the right coin to buy now
with other coins you can lose BTC while its bearish market
a safe heaven can be $(not usdt) or BTC
i bought ETC 2 weeks ago but i dont really suggest to buy it now since its already may be the top
just buy BTC and wait for some worthy news and buy it few weeks/days before the news
make some BTC while bearish market
