Ok, I tried XMR-Stak-CPU miner with i5-7200u and the result was .... 31h/s Should one use some very specific settings or something? i7-7xxx are supposed to get around 700h/s so there is a chasm between those two results i5-7200u have only 3Mb and work only 1 thread. Not for mining cryptonight. 60 H/s max. Mine Verium - 15-20 H/s - 0,3$ p d

Can someone help me? I cant get mining Zoin working! Here is the communication il had: Please help me getting startin!! I follow the steps on the site. when i click on bat file it opens and closes in a second. I typed "pauze" to stop it. I see this error:
cpuminer-aes-avx2.exe is not recognized as internal or external assignment
Can somone oplease help me
Thanks Sander @dvstein dvstein commented 2 hours ago
this error usually occurs when your antivirus deletes the files. cpuminer is often flagged as malware as hackers often use it to use infected machines for mining. Add an exception to your antivirus to ignore cpuminer. @JayDDee Owner JayDDee commented an hour ago
Change your bat file, the name has changed to cpuminer-avx2.exe. AES is assumed whenever a CPU supports AVX2. @JayDDee JayDDee closed this an hour ago @sandervvv sandervvv commented 27 minutes ago ?
Il try to set the antivirus off but dont help. DVSTEIN
What do you mean? Change the name .bat to ....? JAYDDEE
Thanks for helpen me !!! @sandervvv sandervvv commented 22 minutes ago
@JayDDee
When i change the name to cpuminer-avx2.exe and dubbelclick the next error comes: The version of this file is not compatible with the windows version running 64 or 32 bit @sandervvv sandervvv commented 21 minutes ago
please help me @JayDDee Owner JayDDee commented 3 hours ago
Change the name of the exe in the bat file to match one in the downloaded package. But it looks like you don't have a supported configuration. Read the requirements. @sandervvv sandervvv commented 3 hours ago ?
i will read them, but mined before works with minergate so i think it works with Zoin. Can you please explean more extensive : Change the name of the exe in the bat file to match one in the downloaded package.
do not get angry I'm learning @sandervvv sandervvv commented 3 hours ago
@JayDDee
Method 2: Mining Zoin
The second way of obtaining Zoin is to earn it by mining, using your own hardware and a mining pool server (we recommend the official pool). Mining Zoin is possible with any modern computer as long as it has a CPU.
I have 6 cores?
Please help me @sandervvv sandervvv commented 2 hours ago
@JayDDee
There is no .exe file in the root? @JayDDee Owner JayDDee commented an hour ago
What do you mean there is no exe in the root? You downloaded the windows package, right? You need to tell me everything you're doing and with what CPU. @sandervvv sandervvv commented an hour ago ?
@JayDDee
Yes i downloaded the package for windows 7 Extract Make a notepad fil and past the line from the pooling site in it. (change the worker and pass) Save as .bat and save in first folder miner. Double click
cpu = AMD Phenom (tm)II X 6 1090T Processor 3.20GHZ
I mean when i open al maps in the package there is no .exe file
im going crazy...
Regards @dvstein dvstein commented an hour ago
His antivirus most likely killed/deleted the exe files. Therefor the error (the exe cant be called) and the lack of exe files. @sandervvv sandervvv commented an hour ago ?
@dvstein antivirus is disabeld .exe file is gone after extracting? @JayDDee Owner JayDDee commented 14 minutes ago
There should be a bunch of exe files for different CPU architectures, some dll files and README.txt. Figure that out first, you can't run files that don't exist.
Issues is not the best place for newbie help. You're better off posting in bitcointalk forum, there is lots of newbie help available there. @sandervvv sandervvv commented 11 minutes ago
@JayDDee
Thanks
There are .dll and .txt files in the map. Im searching for .exe
it feels like im going grazy

I5 and only "U" what is 15W max, this is like Celeron or Pentium processor, You never have more Hashes with XMR. I have 3632QM with 35W and make 110-120H/s. And You say 700H/s have anybody with i7??? Must be very very good CPU: http://prntscr.com/ijaf9a

Hey guys I'm looking to put together a resource thread showcasing 1 all CPU mineable coins // best CPU mineable coins and some guides on how to get started on them whether they're write-ups or videos etc. For example all cryptonight coins (estimated w/ ryzen 1700 oc) Biblepay is a CPU only mineable coin which I found interested. Looking for all input! since most mining rigs are using low end cpu, could you make a list of possible coins that could be effectively mined ?

UNITUS is the best altcoin for mining.
There are a lot of coins that can end up being profitable as they are not on an exchange yet but offer low mining difficulty. Ultimately important is wether or not they use a CPU favorable algorithm (e.g. cryptonight), feature a good team, road map and whitepaper. There's a list of newer and promising coins on http://pool.mineallcrypto.com as well.

are any coins really worth cpu mining? I've got a few 6 core i7's I'm probably going to sell. Unless it's worth keeping them.

1 i7- 1$ per day is that for a 4 core model? so around 1.5 per 6 core? I guess that would be alright just firing them up. Only thing is the heat. Sitting under miner GPUs the 6 core models run at 90-100C during full load even with arctic coolers. Gonna have to pass on that I guess, too hot unless I move things around and get better heatsinks.

Guys, so what's up with Electroneum? I'm hearing that more and more ppl are jumping from Monero to ETN CPU mining. Is that really that profitable, or are they just betting on ETN pump in the future?

An other option is to donating your CPU computing power (and get MEDIC coins rewards) to support protein folding at home project of Stanford University through MEDIC Coin's folding at home initiative. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2753447.0

I have been using that one for days.
It seems the system will get replaced or switch to PoS mode because of power consumption.
I use that one to get some xmg because it is relatively fair ,more people believe that at a moment.

ROI COIN get about 600h/s on a ryzen 1600@3.7ghz, you can term deposit @ 593.80% for 1 year. TD will be lower later so it's best time to get in.
