Me too read that there's a problem with the wallets and for that reason we have to update the version. But I did not notice a problem... There's nothing wrong with the existing wallet. You need to update because stealth addresses will be released in the new update, and it's a mandatory update to prevent a hard fork. For the new update, you also need new nodes in the .comf file. If someone doesn't update the wallet up to a certain point, is there a risk that you could lose coins then?

You just be stuck on certain number of blocks and ''out of sync'' Also you will be able to receive payments, but they do not show up in wallet, but will show up on BlockExplorer. Also you will be unable to sent coins from wallet.

yes, new developments equals price rise, and this is only the beginning i think that also general positive news are making their work, or is the spring in general but we have good times in front of us :-)
Yes, with such committed devs and such a great community the future looks nothing but bright. Can't wait for VoteCentral.

Just trying to understand. Every time I think I get it, I see a message that seems contradicting to a previous one or raises other questions.

Explanation is: Since we need Stealth Addressees to work, we made for of blockchain. So if you use old nodes, you will end up using wrong blockchain (old one) To use correct one you need to update nodes.

Thank you, glad to know that. I sometimes forgot updating the wallet. I wonder this myself and forgot to ask. Now everything is clear to me. After the announced of Stealth Address, I saw the DeepOnion 's price went 28+ yesterday now just imagine how that will be when the new version is ready around April 5th, I bet we will see another increase in the price and more people will be willing to test the new wallet! yesterday I was sharing this news about SA, so let's make some noise everywhere about this new feature! so people get ready and have in their minds DeepOnion.

It seems to be a great week for DeepOnion. Keep up lads It's just the beginning... If you keep your wallet open for staking, please ensure you have it updated to the new version with the current node config https://deeponion.org/DeepOnion.conf.php. Your network needs you.

Indeed i did it too, just use the actual node file and you are good to go. I had just some snychronisation problems but deeper released the nodes to update it and there you go works fine.
