We don't want DeepOnion for illegal uses

well, you can't control it even if you do not like
i am not promoting deeponion for illegal activities but it's like fiat paper money, they are only a medium, you can't blame the medium for the usage people do

Like you say there is no way to control what it is used for but the DeepOnion dev/mod team have explicitly said they don't encourage the use of DeepOnion for illegal purposes and the community seems to agree which is good in my opinion

We can't control it but if the community agrees with don't use DeepOnion for an illegal purpose, it is easier to control it

The possibility for anything to be used for illegal purposes always exists. That does not only count for currencies, but also for knives and what not. You could kill someone with a pen. Do you need to encourage everyone to not kill with a pen? You just can't control it. DO delivers good tech and that's fine.

It is true, illegal use depends on the end user, not on the platform, but it is always good to emphasize that its use is not supported for illicit purposes, Deeponion from its beginnings made this very clear, and this is the premise that we as a community we must echo.

You have to do it to protect yourself from legal consequences. It is like this crazy story from the US where they have to tell customers that they shouldn't put cats in a microwave...

Here is an updated sketch of my DeepOnion mascot. The final version will have alot more details.  I tried to do a classic pin-stripe suit. Do you guys think it looks ok or should I just go with a solid color? Any suggestions/additions would be highly appreciated.

I dont predict any falloff or dumping after airdrop is done as I thought months ago may happen.  Those who are HOLDing onion, and know what they are worth... are HODLING on tight... as will I.  As long as I dont run into financial problems my Onions will sit and stake for a very long time until they are in the triple digits
