Hi guys,

I know i'm an absolute newb and messed up. I was using an exodus wallet and it wanted to charge me like £60-70 to send £150 so i youtube'd it and found out that if i export my private keys i could then go to Blockchain and send my BTC there and adjust my fee manually. But because i'm an idiot i set the fee so low now it's been stuck for over 2 weeks.

Can someone please help me, tx is:

There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, but full nodes are more resource-heavy, and they must do a lengthy initial syncing process. As a result, lightweight clients with somewhat less security are commonly used.

Your fee is high enough to use ViaBTC's free accelerator. Submit your txid at exactly 1 second past the whole hour, and if it doesn't work, try again the next hour.

If you can't get it accelerated, you can wait until blockchain.info stops broadcasting the transaction, or use do a double spend with a higher fee through another wallet.

You can import your private key to electrum and use the 'increase fee' feature.

Electrum also charges a very high fee lately. You can change the fee manually so this is a good thing. But still, the btc fees are increasing tremendously! I made a transaction a month ago with a 1 mbtc mining fee and it was stuck for three weeks. Now a week ago I wanted to add more mining fee but the transaction that was previously blocked suddenly cleared. I don't know what happened but I am glad it did. But anyway, Electrum is a very good wallet that allows you to add extra mining fee.

everytime you jumped in to help accelerate, the tx gets confirmed in less than an hour
care to share how you do it? or do you have special account on viabtc?
it's even more reliable than most free accelerator with open threads on this forum Grin

ViaBTC just requires impeccable timing, if you click at the right second each hour, you're transaction is 1 out of 100 that gets accelerated.

it's seems reliable because you are reading the post after it is accepted.
viabtc finds a block every 1.15hours.   which is why it appears to resolve within an hour.
