Bitcoin reaching 20k is quite possible but some of the alt coin could generate more profit than bitcoin. If you think that the altcoin you are holding now will be better in future i suggest you to hold it. But if not better to sell.

I think you should hold all your altcoins if their value are in low range in the crypto market because we need to gain more profit but not to lost. It's better we have saved bitcoin and some other altcoins that shows a good performance.

If you are holding platform coins, such as ETH and NEO  you are definitely fine. If you are holding coins backed back a strong team and working product (Cardano, XVG), you can safely hold your altcoins. Otherwise, you should probably sell your altcoins and hold BTC instead.

do not sell all alt to btc up it will make you lose. the current price of btc is still down and tend to be unstable. you better keep hold btc and alt you do not sell it so as not to lose too much

I have a rule - if the coin is in minus, then it should not be sold.  If you want to sell your altcoins, then wait for them to make some profit.  The exception is dead coins.

Tbh I'm in alts more than I'm in bitcoin itself. But mostly because I enjoy a higher risk and reward ratio. Bitcoin is good and reliable for long term hold though

It's not like you have to do anything, if you know you want to dispose of all your alts and buy BTC it depends on your choice, you can either hold on to your coins and maybe wait till they grow or you can go pretty risky in my opinion and buy BTC with all you got. Depends on what altcoin you are speaking of? Does it have a good team, does it have potential to expand and grow, if you invested because you seen on twitter it's a good coin, or you did not research it then yes sell it, I would personally hold multiple coins those being, btc eth, ltc, xrp, trx, xvg!!! Those are my 5 favorites with good teams, pretty mature been around a while and all of which have a strong community!!!!
