Do I need to sell all alts?

Some people are selling their alts now. They think they will continue going down. What are you thoughts, guys? I am personally still holding though. Don't like all this trading stuff since i am an midterm investor.

It depends on your trading strategy. If you think the altcoins have potential and plan to hold for the long term, there is no point to sell if the price dip. You never know when the altcoins are rising again.

Altcoins will not have a high value if there is not that many people wanting the coin to pump. If they did then you could invest in i t immediately.

For the case of altcoins now, it is suggested to hodl for now all altcoins you have since the market is very bullish.

it all depends on the altcoin you have. if your altcoin has good potential, i suggest you keep hold of it. surely one day altcoin you have will give big advantage for you. but if altcoin is not good, you better sell.

Depends on what kind of a coin it is.  If perspective, then you should not sell.  And the price for BTC this year is likely not to grow to $ 20,000.

I believe 2018 would be the year for altcoins. So, why do you want to sell all altcoins. I think if you do not need you do not need to sell all your altcoin because it will make you lose. And hold it for 2-5 years in spite of market movement. You can loose if you will panic and sell your Alts. I think if you need to invest in bitcoin then maybe you just need another money and not to sell your current holdings.

i also hope that btc can recover from this dippy dip though i did not expect that btc would fall on 5800, my hope for 20k per btc is still intact i believe that this is only a minot pullback before major pump. i didnt sell my altcoin holdings altcoins will be dragged up by btc soon if it rockets.

it seems like I have started to despair, the price has increased slightly but then fall back. so I have the conclusion that this year's bitcoin will not be up to $ 20k

If you are in a loss, I think you dont need to sell alts. Incase you really wanted to sell , then sell those alts that loss only a little price percentage. Then hold those proof of stake coins instead so that while you are waiting for the bull again. You are also increasing your alts by staking, that would double your earnings when its bull time.

I think you need to put into consideration why you actually  invested into those altcoins in the first place. Like my self, some of the coins I am holding, nothing can make me sell or lose them. Cos before I invested in them, I have seen quite some huge potentials in them, thus, I am going with them into the future.

I think the market value of Altcoin still has an opportunity to increase and become more expensive. I prefer holding than selling. But I will not sell all alts, especially now when the market is corrected. this depends on the greater the level of demand then the greater the value of Bitcoin.

 20k that i acn't really say for now but we will all be happy should bitcoin get to that price again anytime soon. As for the trading of altcoins I don't think you really need to sell or trade too many.  I will advice you trade few that you understand well as the market trend now is not really easy to pick and say what might happen tomorrow. What I do as a new trader is pick few sell when it make a good upside and move on.

altcoin will give u more than bitcoin,
if bitcoin raise 2 - 4x altcoin can 10 - 100x

Yes you can sell your alternate coins most probably the low potential ones. You may have those altcoins you got from bounty campaigns which turn to be in oblivion as the team behind it almost do nothing to promote their product while its major competitors are doing something. Keep only those alt coins that are very promising and hold them for long term.

 I haven't sold even the cheapest I have, because even the cheapest coin can become one dollar price one day in the future, and you will be the happiest person, that you didnt sold it in the past!
