ETH will always be necessary for several things. Look at ETH as the gateway into new projects.

Personally, I do not think you need to sell all your altcoin and then invest in bitcoin alone because it is the most valuable coin in crypto, it is good to have potentials altcoin also because they are also promising and incase there is a fall in the price of bitcoin, you can cover up with this altcoin moreover, it is not good to put all your eggs in one basket. I also do not think bitcoin will get to 20k before the end of this year.

Just my opinion, i think altcoin is just a place to invest long term, theyre not really worth to trade, except coin that already has big volume.
Except than that, its easy to be manipulated.

All coins should not be sold.  If you want to invest in BTC, then it is better to sell only a part of the coins.
