I am shocked to see this much people voted centralized bad coin called ripple. Why would you even install ripple if you are trying to change how banks work? Inflation of ripple will kill markets.

i choose bitcoin in the first place but if you want to earn more bitcoin you can buy altcoin like ripple.
yes that's true because for me bitcoin is an important role in crypto and it keeps going that way.
because all started with bitcoin and ripple is just one altcoin that will not beat bitcoin.

Well, I choose only BTC. Far too much has been said about Ripple. Better hold other coins from top 50 market cap..

To start with, we should know that bitcoin is use to invest and ripple is use for currency ,I think it depend on what you need from them important but ripple is full of risk for me.
There was a time when bitcoin is the ultimate currency and with time and more users ,it is impossible to see bitcoin as a currency which can be used on a daily basis, the higher transactions charges made micro transactions impossible and hence the dream of having a currency vanished but i am not getting ripple instead of bitcoin.

No need for arguments with this, I know we have our own opinions if which is better but lets face the reality. Ripple have potential and I agree with the current status that it is soaring high but BTC is irreplaceable and I know that all of us know the answer. But still we as users we have to support all of them for the growth of this business.

Yeah, we can see from the past few days, when BTC price going on a dip, altcoins price also falling like hell..

BTC is better than ripple in many ways.. I wonder why there's still people that choose ripple over BTC...

Ripple too risky for me. Bitcoin is an investment in the long term looks like more warranty. Of course, it varies from individual to individual. Cool Huh

any centralized coin is risky.. I believe BTC had everything better compared to ripple

anyday anytime i will prefer bitcoin , all crypto market depend on its movement .

see this example - if ripple falls to 0.20$ or 0.10$ then only ripple holders will be affected , and other altcoins will not be affected at all .

but if btc movement go down then entire market will go down and that is sure thing ..

so it shows why btc is called king of crypto .

You are assuming that no other coin will take over BTC role of top marketcap. That could easily change if a downward trend in BTC continues. Etehreum and XRP are not that far behind.

It is still hard for ripple to overtake bitcoin and it might take time before it happen. In order to take the lead from bitcoin, ripple must try to overtake ethereum again and try to stay in no.2 spot. The demand for ripple should surge many times to be able to match bitcoin demand. For the meantime, bitcoin will remain to be the leader of all cryptocurrencies followed by ethereum.

RIPPLE IS SHIT, you can not compare ethereum, or bitcoin with ripple. Are you serious? You are probably one of those guys who do not even know what they are saying but you are just trying to increase your activity.
GTFO.

well articulated...lol How about explaining how you think Ripple is better than Bitcoin with detailed commentary rather than a throwaway comment that has no substance. And no, don't just state the usual FUD comments such as  'it's centralised', 'Ripple owns 60% of coins', 'it's a bankers platform', 'it's tech can be stolen' ' it's not a true currency' blah blah blah. Actually form an argument that makes some sense so that we can understand where you are coming from because frankly, I have yet to read a valid argument against XRP that can't be applied to most other coins..

Bitcoin is always my first choice, even if it pumps 100% tomorrow. I tried to hold 40% of my portfolio in bitcoin.

Ripple is not really centralized for me thus it is not a "real" and "pure" crypto for me.

Bitcoin is good, distribution is not skewed however the miners are somehow centralized imo.

I would look at Ethereum, IOTA and Cardano more. Cardano is good tho, Peer Reviewed Papers

like you said, it is better to support both bitcoin and ripple so we could still make money from that coins. but I think bitcoin will still lead the exchanges and for the other coins as bitcoin is more famous depends on the other so bitcoin will be number one in coinmarketcap for this year and maybe for the next year. and I agree that ripple with the other coin have potential to increase but they will need more time before the price is increase more high in the future.

Yes I agree but for some reason XRP really seems to make certain people unjustifiably grumpy. lol
