Hi, I feel that with well-rounded investors, Bitcoin can only continue to flourish. Nevertheless there is no doubt that the next evolution of the financial industry is just around the corner. Do not fix on bitcoin or ripple only.

Why use bitcoin when we can use bitcoin private. Isn't the whole point of crypto, privacy, anonymous transactions?

Of course bitcoin. Ripple is a narrow-value coin and therefore can not be a competitor to bitcoin. Ripple was created for banks, and bitcoin for the whole world. I use ripple only for speculation and this brings me a very big profit due to the fact that the coin is very volatile.

guys
whats do you think and why ?
i mean in the next 2-5 years whats your word ?
I would say go with both. They are both likely to increase in value substantially. If you buy both, you won't end up felling like you've missed out. I do not agree with you because at a certain angle, I still underestimate the ripple, the value of ripple is too low and the whales are very easy to accumulate, that makes the pump slower, it will last longer, investing in the ripple will not be a wise idea. Bitcoin is definitely better than ripple because it is a character that mediates between the altcoin, people need to buy it before they want to buy altcoin, that makes Bitcoin more valuable, and the amount of bitcoin is decreasing over time, it will have more opportunities to reach higher values when it becomes scarce

Are you serious? You comparing bitcoin Between ripple that's a big joke, look at their value. That two are really profitable coins and have great potential but there's a different platform, bitcoin is the most popular and valuable currency than ripple. And the one that I choose is bitcoin the king.

It is different, bitcoin is king of crypto and Ripple is an altcoins I think that it is better to hold bitcoin than ripple.

I am now away from Ripple. The price does not give me confidence. I can not figure out what strategy to pursue. I think it would be a more accurate decision to stay at Bitcoin.

Bitcoin is the best choice for long term. It has great potential. On the other side ripple has ability to increase huge amount of its price. It can be reached on high price like ltc/eth.

I bet on Ripple. I think that Bitcoin has outlived its, I agree that the price for it can jump, but not much, in comparison with the ripple. The potential is not the same as before.

I think bitcoin will still come out strong in 3 to 5 years from now, it's become so much of a rising and very promising commodity. Bitcoin's market value will continue to increase until it stabilizes. Bitcoin is a solid currency, reaching $20k is not an easy feat and no currency rivals bitcoin in that area. It lasted this long and it will last a bit more longer. Ripple is a currency that has been struggling and has also potential, but it seems to lack the strong and unique aspects that is exceedingly illuminated from coins such as Bitcoins and Ethereum. Bitcoin will last and reign as long as people and investors will continue to support and circulate them. It's an innovation that will outlast and survive.

Firstly I don't want to compare Bitcoin with ripple, it is just comparing king with a last level soldier. Bitcoin familiarity and the potential is awesome, ripple or any altcoin cannot even come half of Bitcoin potential or growth for another 10 years from now. I seriously don't like to comment on ripple because it is not a pure crypto, Bitcoin is the king of all cryptocurrency and will lead as king of cryptocurrency for ever and ever.

I vote for Bitcoin.
Even if it's riskier, people tend to want bigger returns faster, therefore support and invest in it.
Ripple is steadier, a coin to store your money for a period of time due to lower spikes of the price

For me I must go with Bitcoin. We all know that bitcoin is going more popularity and more people are engage on it.Even if the price is going up and down theres a possibilities that you will learn a lot by waiting patiently. But it depends on you which you will choose, where you can think you earn a lot and earn a good profit.

I think what people misunderstand about ripple is the effect the supply has on the potential value. Ripple will never be a $100 plus coin. Another thing to consider is because it is such a centralised organisation there is nothing stopping them creating more coins and devaluing the coins you have.

I'll go for BTC for long term, and hold it till the price go crazy again you might know when it is so you just have to strike when the moment comes, you can keep also some Ripple with you since the more coins you hold the better you will get, soon.

Ripple gives a huge profit if for the investment of up to five years. bitcoin ever actually also the same but if you have to buy a bitcoin with large numbers currently don't have enough capital. so the ripple with a capital of $1000 already get quite a lot and be able to get great results in five years.

Of course XRP. Bitcoin is too slow and expensive it also takes high fees. Core developers fighting against other developers instead of focusing on work. Ripple will be more decentralized by the end of the year than butcoin and etherium Ripple because it will continue to grow. If XRP just gets half of the % it did in 2017 then we see a massive opportunity and we see massive recognition of banks governments and regulators worldwide. Be ready for paradigm shift. Buy now or cry later Ripple is nothing more than a Trojan horse of the banks, between bitcoin and ripple the choice is easy bitcoin should be the coin we choose, ripple may give you profits that is right but bitcoin is the best coin overall at the same time your characterization of the bitcoin devs as just fighting other coins is completely mistaken since they are doing their best to improve bitcoin and its protocol.

I am for bitcoin all the way because I don't like the idea of Ripple being backed by banks. I put my money in crypto because I don't want the banking systems, but I would still trade ripple but there is no way for me to hold it for long term.
