i am getting getwork on osc.dsync pool
glad to hear the pool is up and running again. i've joined in the mining effort, so we should start solving some blocks with a bit of luck. STRATUM IS WORKING

Can't register on the pool.... I had the same problem recently. something acting up with x3's mail server i think. give it about 15 minutes, he's said he would be manually activating accounts for people until the issue is resolved. I am very sorry for the inconvenience and thank you for supporting Open Source

eh I'm just back to solo mining till I see its working eh, fair enough, but we have strength in numbers. i just found block 9696 a few minutes ago. Well it seems my account was set up, despite the angry red txt on the registration page, so I'm connected in and running. However, I'm seeing a rather high % of rejects and getwork failures. This just growing pains of the new pool?

you're the only one that seems to have a problem. novaspirit and ahmed bodhi are both running the linux daemons. i'm starting a bug reporting thread for OSC. you will have to be specific. try to include screenshots if possible.

Currently on Ubuntu i get warnings with qmake about /src/qt/res/icons/Ocoin-128.png and other icons not being found so i fix that then I get the same problem with 'make': Ocoingui.h: no such file or directory
Same as before so it kind of looks like the git hub version is old?
Cheers

you need to create a build directory so the compiler has somewhere to place your built objects.

yeah that happens. is it not because the code references files with uppercase names but the file names are lower case?

cool i'll maybe have a look at that tonight worked for me on Elementary OS and Lubuntu. it should work for you. I understand you want me to change the case in the github, but that would make it harder to compile for Windows. sorry about the inconvenience

Hmmmmm. I still like the idea of more SHA coins. Not sure I like the idea of the equivalent of 2.2 Million block premine, though... Either way, might do a p2pool for this fella.
isn't pow/pos p2pool nightmare mode?

Got to agree on that one. It should compile fine on both windows and linux as long as the casing is consistent between the files and the code.
