With crossed fingers, I really hope so. We have already touched the $1,000 resistance and successfully broken it yesterday. But today, I saw a little dip of Ethereum and we have lost hold of the $1,000 mark. This is a rather strong resistance. But we are still in the first week of January. There is much days left. $2,000 in February is rather a moderate target. We could very well achieve that even in the third week of January if Ethereum will leave $1,000 finally and go forward bullish.

Agreed, ethereum might reach $2000 by the month of february. As a beginning now itself the price has been found around the $1000 mark. This has been stated as the year of altcoins and various predictions have been made regarding the same. Expect the price reach $2000 at the earliest.

Many investors choose eth because the price is still affordable, compared to the price of BTC is too expensive.

Its possible to happen but don't expect too much. Because as we can see the price of ETH was slowly increase, look how months ago before it reach 1000 USD, so it may be a long time to wait before eth reach 2k USD.

1 month is not enough for ETH can go up 2x. perhaps at least it needs more than 6 months to get that target. But anyway, you also should buy it now to have the low price.

This is possible, in the most ideal event, in other words, it can reach $2k but with a low chance. It is a short time for a great increase in price as far as eth is concerned. It took months before it hits the $1k mark, and it is only hundreds increase. And this case requires a thousand increase in price just in one month is almost impossible but still possible, since there's no 100% certainty on the events in the future.

I think it's possible.. But now strong growth not wait. I think the eth will cost around 5,000 by 2018-end. The strongest growth of the cryptocurrency market waiting to spring. as in the past year. Then ethereum can make several x's. Now there are problems in the community need to wait for the decision and then the road will be open for 5000

Quite the optimistic on this but then wouldn't bitcoin be worth at least 100k at the end of the year dont you agree.

I think no. If so it will like equal to btc market cap and btc dominance will be around 10%

I honestly speculate that by the end of January, Ethereum will go up to $1,300 to $1,500. I'm impressed with Ethereum's growth despite it falls down behind Ripple in market cap. I believe it will go up by $2k next month, so there's a lot of time for Ethereum to explode.

I think the entire ecosystem is experiencing network congestion, which I'm trying to buy Ethereum from my friend. However, he doesn't recommend me buying due to network congestion. It is one of the reasons why Ethereum's market value is exploding.
