Ethereum might be 2000k at this year but not at the begining of the year. Whole market goes up but it cant go like this at all. I think we will slow down for a while.

this days ETH price is $1,045.73 USD
just about half of OP target
lat news from ETH dev is from 18 de 2017 about Ethereum Core Developers Meeting
and since then, no more update
and according to crypto callender, there is 3 more ETH event incoming, 11 jan, 13 jan, and 16 feb
will this 3 event will make double ETH price until last february??
maybe not
if you are watching vitalik's twitter and there will be a regular update from his twitter account about the casper pos network, and it's already tested by the way. But this is still including on the private test, it may be published after the network will have implemented in the future. that's a huge news. |

It's a very vital and interesting question actually. we all are know that after btc eth is the best coin in crypto market. It eth is going to be boom. Eth's price now $1k+ and it should be $2k in February. And I think become $2k in the last of January of 2018 as well. So we can say that, eth shoukld be $2k in February.

It is very possible for Ethereum to hit the $2k mark by the end of February, unless of course Bitcoin decides to pump. If it does pump, Ethereum will lose a significant amount of value most likely.

In the last 30 days ETH has increased from ~400 USD to 1000 USD, a factor of 2.5x
If it continues to increase at this rate, it would be much greater than 2000 USD by the end of February.
Caveat emptor. Nothing goes up forever.

I'm sure Ethereum could reach $2k in February, a factor that will make ethereum rise fast is its own rival "Ripple" which is exploding right now, that's make ethereum shifting in position. Based on https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/ethereum/historical-data/ we can see that the increase in ethereum is soaring even though there is a decrease several times. And i also believe Ethereum will go back up to 2nd in all cryptocurrency. |

Seems possible because of the market condition lately which is very bullish as we've seen from the marketcap. Ethereum is one of those stable coin which is hard to move, but once move they are going up a lot, the last run is fromabout $350 to $800 so i expect the next run will bring us to above $2000 usd. I have some eth and i'm very bullish on this coin. |

I never make predictions, knowing that I will necessarily make a mistake. But about the air can only say that it stably holds on the bar 900-1.2k for a week at least and if there is a greater demand then there will be an increase in price. So the ether is the most stable alt for the long term. |

Well nobody knows what will happen next month, i think it most probably will happen at least in the middle of the year if its notnin february. The first stage have been kept it, that is $1000 and that price was predicted from last year. |

I actually would hope not and prefer that ETH move in a slow yet steady manner. It is best to keep prices stable and non-volatile to attract more and more investors to keep buying up.

Yeah I agree ethereum price can be said stable even decrease in ethereum price some time ago not too deep. I think with increasingly skyrocket name of ethereum in market cryptocurrency will make community ethereum is getting bigger and will certainly impact to the price of the upcoming ethereum but to reach $2k in february it means a 2-fold increase in 1 month. I think it's quite difficult but anything can happen right ? |

Very likely, I myself optimistic ETH will be able to penetrate the wall since December last month. The lingering tendency of Bitcoin in recovery makes some altcoins like Eth and XRP invaded by investors. These two coins compete in position # 2 and # 3 in marketcap during this month. In February next month, Eth could have broken through 2k.

Yes, it's possible and I hope so. Experts last year were already predicted that Ethereum will hit high value in 2018 and I think this is now the right time for Ethereum to pump high as it is very eager to take back that second seat as the most valuable cryptocurrency in the market.
