Actually, considering how diff it is to get a block now, that price may not be completely off.
How is it going for those still trying GPU mining?

So what's the eta of getting pennies on coins-e or cryptsy?

Without any necessary network transaction fees to (load) cover withdrawals and with the min. exchange fee needing to be 1 CENT I guess it makes for an interesting addition for the exchange... or not !?

This is a really interesting and underrated alt. coin though. Its value should actually exceed its perceived worth. Great centiment shakezula!

This should be easy to get around in that the exchanges could just implement a minimum transaction size to match their % fee.

Or exchanges could just charge the fee in BTC? (Cent -> BTC rate based on the order rate?)

And how long would it take to mine 700 pennies with this difficulty and a good cpu?
Seems like they're dumping quite low because they've mined early and will regret later when people buy much higher because of the diff.

For comparison's sake, using the GPU miner earlier in this thread, at this difficulty on 6 x 7950's (about 11Mh/s) I am getting about 12 pennies an hour on average.  I believe a single 4core sandy bridge is getting about 125Kh/s IIRC.

LoL - well I dunno - Pennies seems like a good one in general. But I can't setup a pool for it myself.

I can setup a SexCoin pool though Wink. It's not the worst of the coins out there  Grin

I like it - hope it succeeds!
