so am i correct in assuming i cannot see my shares on cryptomex because i have not signed that insanely large form that i have to give to some chineese company so that they can give to their goverment?
No, you're incorrect. Unverified accounts (form not submitted) can see their PU amounts.

I noticed the profits units outstanding was 3,812,456. Shouldn't it be around 14,000,000?
Current units outstanding shown on the site is the total of transferred PUs (assigned to signed up users). This number will rise as more signups come in. The maximum number is: 13,117,745.

Yeah if we're going the DEX route, counterparty seems like a more proven and stable option as things currently stand. I ran a ASICMINER Pass Through before, The system works but there are some flaws.
First of there is a lot of manual work, which in turn leads to a lot of errors. I had several times where Transfers that should have been done wasn't done or shares who were suppose to be sent one place were sent somewhere else. Second a lot of people (several have contacted us being worried about this) are not in control of their payout address, meaning we would have to build a site/routine to safely and securely allow people to switch their payout addresses.
It is just a lot of work and we would rather if we can try to reuse the work put into CMX by the CryptoMex team and use their platform to hold PUs and pay out people, if possible.
As regards to the question about money spent on CMX. No IceDrill money was used to fund CMX, it was funded by the CMX team and external investors.
I'm all for not reinventing the wheel, it just seems like overkill at the moment to have a whole platform dealing with a single issuance. What is the plan for developing cryptomex as a platform? Why would a a firm release an IPO here rather than through counterparty or Nxt? What work is being done to advertise cryptomex as an option at all? The site itself seems polished and functions well enough but it still feels like beta software. For example, branding is not consistent across the site, which is a shame because the logo looks pretty good. I also don't like that the login page is separate to the index / splash page. It's particularly bad that there isn't a way to return 'home' from the login page. These are minor things but they all add up and detract from the user experience. Having a whole platform for icedrill seems overly ambitious to me. It would be much simpler to use a dex or passthrough for now, and keep cryptomex on the backburner until it offers some unique and compelling reason for firms to issue there.

In a choice between: i. convenience for the company to make payments vs ii. convenience and peace of mind for investors to not to fill out a fairly invasive kyc form I hope you guys decide to side with the investors even if it means a bit of discomfort for you. To us - it seems like cryptomex is being forced down our throats only because icedrill and cryptomex promoters are the same. If cryptomex is good, it will grow on its own. But please don't tie the fates of icedrill investors with cryptomex. Please look to do what is most convenient and in the best interest of your investors. Please give us better options. Either direct payments like ASICMiner does. Or a pass through on Havelock.

+1 I will / do not give the amount of data you have requested to ANYBODY. I do not contract to your latest offering and would rather you bought back my shares (as you are contractually obliged) than be held to ransom for my data, as it currently feels.

My question who owns these sites and the trading platform? Have they and their development been funded by the investors?

You cant sell or trade them without the KYC form Im not sure if you can pull divs out without that form, guess we will find out after will and terra stop holding our btc hostage I don't see this as true. I see my shares here: www.icedrill.io, but there is no obvious connection between that account and my account here: www.cryptomex.io that I can see, even though I've used the same addresses... My other questions remain unaddressed: 1. Were icedrill investment funds used to develop these two sites (cryptomex.io and icedrill.io)? 2. If so, aren't investors also entitled to an ownership interest them? Pragmatically speaking, the long-term prospects for a trading platform would seem better than the long term prospects for a mining operation whose short term prospects aren't hopeful (the technology is quickly becoming obsolete, most of its major milestones have been missed, and the overhead seems disproportionally high), and whose long-term prospects seem dismal...

I dont know after sigining up for cryptomex, it took a few days for them to show up Cryptomex asked for a wallet address i gave them the one i used with icedrill.io As for you questions good luck getting an answer only time will and terra answer questions around here Is when they run out of our fiat funds and are waiting for BTC to be converted or you ask questions about anything other then this farm, like will's kids
