As indicated by predictions bitcoin should have achieved 15k$ by end of 2017 and fall in first week of jan 2018

In any case, shockingly its effectively reached 17k$ in 2017.

Should I purchase or hold my btc?I don't plan to sell at any point in the near future.
All of the investments involve risks so you should not be surprised by it anymore and you should be expecting risks always. The risks should not stop you no matter what because it is what makes your investment beneficial and exciting. Just be careful and don't risk too much so that you can avoid disappointments and possible loosing of everything you've got.

I suggest that you should hold your Bitcoins and wait for the time it will pump. To be safe, convert half of it and remain the other half. Nothing is sure to happen, everything was just a prediction so don't bet everything and don't be too complacent. Think smart, think twice or even thrice.
To end, Holding can be a risk if you don't know how to manage it. Possible loses can generate from the possible mistake you can be made.

I personally feel holding will be the key for the conversion of investment into profits. As almost all coins are rising and it still is an initial stage. No big news or update has come that threatens the price to go down.It is the momentum that came from new year and it will continue and i think people will invest and hold for some time.So my advice would be to split your investment into different coins and wait for sometime as prices are rising slowly and would continue till some time.Rest it is your money and final call would always be your's.

Hodling is the best strategy so far. I can say this because of how volatile the crypto market has been, especially in the past several weeks. There are constant fluctuations and we cannot be accurate in our predictions. Because of this, the best thing to do is not to sell our Bitcoins. The bull run is about to come so keep calm and hodl. Buying is also advisable because the price is still cheap although it has started to recover.

It depends on the coin that you are holding. For me, there is no risk if you are holding bitcoin because you can sure that the value of the bitcoin will not lose. I can say that there is risk in holding altcoins because some of altcoins can be consider as shitcoins.

Investing is always a risk. No.matter what you do, hold or sell will be a risk. Selling now will risk by not making enough profit or lose profit. Holding will also be a risk as bitcoin price might fall and lose profit. If you don't intend on selling then hold until the price will be satisfactory for you or if you really need to sell.
Yes that is, even if we keep the money in the bank then it is also risky that is the value that continues to decline because the interest of banks is smaller than inflation, everything we do is always at risk so no profit is not risky, as long as there is a risk there is a chance to get profit.

Anything we do in investment may it be short term or longer term has risks that we need to face. Regardless if it is in Bitcoin, any alt coin or even in stock market. So it really needs strong hands to handle it, face risks and take the outcome may it be great profit or you just lost. Just be prepared.

I don't think so. I know that price is volatile but it's  always returning to the avarage numbers. You can lose some money but you will never lose everything.

At first holding bitcoin is a risk its because the value of bitcoin is not stable it can crash anytime so invest only what you can afford to lose but the positive side of holding it is it can double or multiply your investment when its value pumps up its a matter of good decision of holding or sell it if the price was good.

Holding coins will always comes with risk, its up to you how you will handle those situation, though regarding the case of holding Bitcoin, you don't have to worry about it, I'm pretty sure you'll be rewarded for holding accordingly. Prices of Bitcoin may fall to its lowest but its been proven for so many years that Bitcoin is capable of bouncing back to the way it was before and most of the time even better.

Risk is everywhere when holding the Bitcoin. Courage is the key, just be wise and be sure that you can afford whatever the outcomes, it might be grow or fall.

But you cannot learn the techniques and become knowledgable if you don't have a courage to invest. Whatever the outcomes just learnd from your experienced. Timing!

You just have to analyze everything and make a good decision, always check if it is worth the risk. In my own opinion holding btc is a good idea.

You should hold your btc very tightly, and if at any point you think you can purchase more then for sure go for that.
Very soon btc will make new ATH  again.

Every investment is risky. Bitcoin does not promise or guarantee anything. Everything is just speculations and no guarantee at all but it is up to you how determined you are in taking the risks. We all invest in our own expense so we cannot blame anyone by agreeing with us if indeed bitcoin will crash tomorrow or the next day.

In my own experience, I was able to realize that holding will not always bring you great results that's why I always think carefully before holding for a long time. It is quite risky but the reward waiting is always worth the wait that's why I never stopped holding because I believe that the value of bitcoin will soon rise again to the moon. My faith will somehow bring me to great places in the future.

It can be a risk with a great reward waiting if ever you'll pass through the risk. We all know that the value of bitcoin is volatile and there's no assurance that the value will always rise. You should be careful before holding so that you can gain benefits instead of loosing money. Holding is not just holding, it requires smart and wise decisions to make the most of your holding.

What we do is all risky, including bitcoin hold, there is no guarantee that the price of tomorrow or the day after tomorrow will be better than now because we never know what will happen, but throughout my experience with patience then we will get the best.

May be there is a lot of risk in holding bitcoins at the moment but it is sure to stand in the coming time. Keep holding and make the right choice, don't take the chance of investing more if you can't deal with immediate loss. It's a long run game.
Every investment is a risky task. Since bitcoin involves investing money, it has a little bit risk too. But we must bear in mind that no risk no gain. Therefore, today's risky task of holding botcoin will certainly give back huge return. Because undoubtedly bit coin has a stunning future.
