Sorry to hear it dude , but before trading a coin , check the history of the coin , here on bitcoin forum , after check the website , check the thread of this coin as there's lots of coins on the market that developpers left them since long time .. No idea why Markets still keep them , but ... Now the only solution you have maybe in few months the coin may someone take over and make it move or people like you jump to buy it So you can just pray

Well so sorry about your loss mate, and now i will only request you that you just take some break from trading and cryptocurrency market so that when you come again and take your fresh new trades you don't feel fear or any kind of emotions around your mind. And also i would like to add that if you are a begginer then you better practise your trades with demo account an then go for trading with live account and at starting trade the market with small scale and then go with big scale. It's not a good idea to invest all your capital in one single coin.

Your questions is not clear dude, but If I understand it correctly, you did buy a coin, lets say coin A and then the the coin suddenly drop, losing your investment. Then it not should be considered as trading because you didn't trade it, meaning buy or sell it at certain point. So its more likely that its a investment, if I'm not mistaken.

That questions is not really clear, but we have to understand where the OP is coming from. It looks like he is new to trading or investing, and he still don't grasp the concept of diversifying his portfolio. But most of us did go to this experienced and I hope that he learns from this mistakes and next time we will try to buy other coins so he has some plan B. But yes, diversification is best suited in crypto as well. There are a lot of coins like Bitcoin and Ethereum and other altcoins that he can put is money with.

if you want to invest in one coin why not just bitcoin trading. maybe this time you will not lose your capital. not a good idea you trade only one invesment. I also trading altcoin but there are some altcoin I buy. I only have a small capital so have to survive to get big capital. I am currently holding bitcoin and ethehreum even though the value is small. I think the two crypto's will be high in its future value. besides that I also follow the bounty campaign to earn another income. I hope that the campiagn that I follow can be successful and I can enjoy the success. being the support part of a successful project into its own excitement for me dasmping expect a lot of income of course.

I will never do the high frequency trading, it's the same thing to trade the stock. I will just do some research on one coin, buy it and hold it for a very long time. When I sell a coin, unless I got a good reason to sell it, such as I find a better one and I don't think this coin price will go up.

In its strict sense, it cannot be called trading. That is what we call hodling, or holding if you want the correct term. It cannot be trading simply because you are not trading it. Trading means shifting from one coin to another to make gains. But it may also happen that you are a trader really and it so happened that a certain coin of yours is making some loss and instead of cutting it, you prefer to hodl it for a while to make it recover first before trading it.

That is called trading because you buy coin on exchange sad to hear that but i think the first you do if you buy coin check if the supply are good and also check if the developer are active to his coin.

It is still a trading simply because you are holding on it and you are just focusing on your goal or target price. Trading is very risky, and investing in one coin might brings you a big loss so better to hold great coin for you to lessen the risk. Its a big risk so you better diversify your holdings to prevent big loss. Yes in this kind of volatile market you should be very careful in choosing coin to invest, if you loose already then accept your mistake, move on and start over again. This market will not end this year or even next year so meaning you still have a lot of time to bounce back.

It's up to you and see the result by yourself if it will become effective. You must find your winning strategy so a little bit of test is mandatory thing to do as long as you understand what you are doing.

Yes, holding any coin for a long time is nothing but investing. You should hold coins only if your sure that that coin future is good and it will recover back later on otherwise I think we should set up some stop-loss limits for shit coins to trade. If you hold shit coins then you may or may not cover back your losses even in the long term.

That is a trading sir and in the same time also you were an investor of that coin. When you start to buy that coin you already invested in it and also you are prepare to loose whatever happen to the price of it. So you need to hold that coin, just think that every correction there will be a price pump after that.
