Currently, in my portfolio, I am having 5 cryptocurrencies that I hold starting of with Bitcoin of course since it was the best of all the cryptocurrencies for me. I don't wish to advertise my portfolio. Like you I am here for years, I have some coins sitting in their wallets for over 2 years... Stellar is corporate coin, and I believe that it will worth a lot more in the future, just a feeling after some stuff I saw. Hating xrp is a strong word, I just don't like it. Digibyte is one of the coins I have for a long time, and I add some from time to time, I like what they do! Enjin is one of my latest investment, what they do and what they plan to achieve is amazing, if they got even close to that it will affect the price a lot.
In the end I am here for a long time, but I don't see my self as someone who should suggest others what to buy, I just shared 5 of my picks, for people to see. What will they do with that it's their own thing. As I said, do your own math and find your own conclusions. It's not always good to follow others. Out of the top  five coins, first of all i prefer Bitcoin (BTC). Because Bitcoin could grow at a massive rate by 2021. Ethereum (ETH) place after bitcoin is ether best for me as a second option. Like most other people here? I guess almost 50% this community must be waiting for next version of ethereum but it seems devs keep delaying it for some reasons. At the same time you must consider the current competition, ethereum is having right now after so many good platforms are available in the market for the same purposes like smart contracts and dapps, I am in doubt about the future of ethereum in coming years. You will not get big disappointment if you are holding ethereum but you should not have big expectation at the same time.

I was going to mention ChainLink, but I saw news yesterday about it that wasn’t a good news. For a year now ChainLink has been doing well, and the price is increasing, even this month. It seems to be a good option, but it would be good if you take time to look into it or any other choice you make to know if it’s really good.

XRP is a good asset to buy at this time too, institutions are getting interested in it. Analysts are forecasting a bull for XRP that will possibly take place in this 2020.Next is Litecoin, it’s a good coin, maybe you should buy it if the two I have mentioned are not something you’re interested in.

Your choices are the best for investment, in my mind BTC and top altcoins absolutely ETH are more profitable than other altcoins. That is right ETH is the second biggest coin of this world. If you go through some few pages back of this topic then you can find many people are doing the same. I hope they would not have bought such unknown coins and tokens but they might have earned thorough bounty programs and airdrops like you have mentioned. But regardless of how they got those coins/tokens, I am also just wondering why they are all still keeping them instead of selling for BTC or ETH. Some people are too loyal for the projects where they have worked but that loyalty definitely will not pay off them back.

These are all massive cap cryptocurrencies, realistically even in 3-5 years they might only experience a 2-10x improvement at the very best.

If you really want to rack up the money, you should invest in a micro-cap coin that has the potential to climb into the top 100 or even top 50.

You can see a few DeFi coins have managed to achieve this lately, odds are a few more will also make it.

These can make 10x improvement in a much shorter time, which could then use to build your long-term stack in BTC, ETH etc.

As I understand it, stable coins only to store value are not a tool for good investment to get maximum results. if you enter the crypto world you only want to invest in stable coins, the value will not grow.

You only invest in stable coins when you have to either get out of the market or until you decide what is gonna be your next step in a very treacherous market. Holding  new digital coin for a long term is not a good idea for me because mostly it crash and not stay in crypto market. what do you mean by stable investment?

Apart from some of the ones you mentioned - Bitcoin, Ethereum and Cardano, I think it's good to add some of the newer coins.

I personally have great sympathy for Binance Coin, SKALE Network and Matic Network who rebranded their Polygon system. I think all three coins have great potential and could make a breakthrough soon.
