Apply Blockchain 3.0

Does they have own blockchain? I see, that this will be ERC20 tokens. But than they will swap to own blockchain?

Yes, you are right currenctly ArcBlock will use ERC20 tokens for initial distribution, as they don't have their blockchain ready. When it will be ready they will do 1 to 1 swap to new tokens, that's actually quite common practice. Their partner CyberMiles will do the same, after ICO everyone got ERC20 tokens (CMT), but somewhere closer to summer there will be a swap for new tokens. I'm sure ArcBlock will have hardcap in a very short time.

As much as I know the pre-registration form for ICO participation is already closed. They review all KYC requests as the demand was greater than expected, so this is a very strong signal that ArcBlock's ICO hardcap will be met in a very short time may be even couple of days only.

Whilst I am a big fan of the project, I would like to calm my anxieties over some of the reddit comments being made. In particular:

https://www.reddit.com/r/arcblock/comments/7px6qy/why_arcblock_is_potentially_a_scam_they_kicked_me/

And any supposed media articles that I cannot seem to find on any of the aforementioned websites on their website e.g. Huffington, coindesk etc.

Could some one please clarify. Thanks

I am still thinking if I will buy tokens. Anyone who can prove to me that Arcblock is better than Aion?

You just missed. The public sale registration was closed yesterday on Jan 21st, 2018, 7pm CST. So, you can wait after ICO and buy some on exchanges.
Is it available to join this ICO?

I was randomly DM'd by one of their admin. Had good conversation, and introduced Arcblock telegram group. I was following the discussions on the group chat, then one day I noticed that the one that DM'd me is an admin. does that sounds fishy? why would they do that? I bet many others were invited that way.

Do you have any legal restriction for participation in the main token sale, I mean are any regions like US or China restricted to participate in the ICO.

Yes, they have restricted many countries for joining in pre-sale, i think you can check those in their FAQ regarding who can participate in their pre-sale and ICO. For why they have rejected we don't know but the time of KYC they will not issue the token to those countries if they participate in ICO.

They've got 37000 people in telegram. I can't think a noob like me is raising this as an issue and the other 37k people wiser than me don't care(well other than those in that reddit)

It would be nice of the project team to say something about it now. Pinned response. I think the worse part is people are being blocked in the telegram group for raising or questioning something.

I signed up for an ICO account on arcblock.io. But there are a lot of suspicions about the project, so I will keep track of the situation until the last day to decide whether to buy ABT or not.
Hope it will be good.  Grin

Looks like a really promising project for a long term hold.  I like that 80 percent of the first stage is already done!

The ceo clarified things in the reddit post and answered honestly about the project. I think the really bad issue here is the telegram admin just banning everyone posting tha reddit link. The admin should know that banning is just a way of pushing the investor away, and if he/she wanted to stop the FUD from spreading, well thats exactly whats happening, unnecesary FUD is spreading because the lack of moderation skills the telegram admin has when it comes to managing the chat. Is like blaming the cashier of a restaurant for the quality of the food. The admin shouldve reach the team to properly answer investors rather than just banning them.

looking forward to this greag project to evolve and much more improve in the near future. and i wish this project a big success. goodluck dev.

looking forward to this great project with a great concept. i wish this project a big success in the near future. goodluck dev.

Meanwhile mods here dont care and just let bot accounts do whatever they want.

The irony, arcblock mods banning investors, bitcointalk mods allowing bots.
