I don’t think so since the concept of mining in cryptocurrency is very vital. Many investor get touch with it so it’s hard to tell when it will stop.

It won't! Some alts do not have limit, so you can mine them forever. Others having limited amount will end, but not very soon. Additionally, new alts get produced regularly, so mining has come to stay "for a while"!

Mining is used to verify transactions. If mining stops verifying stops and coin system won't work.
That is how it's work. ...

It's just mining become more difficult and less efficient so it's impossible to happen if mining activity will stop in the future.
If we see current market, mining activity become more fierce that means  cryptocurrency still on high demand for all people around the world

The 21 million bitcoin token was already mined. though there will still miners and try to mine bitcoin.
what are they mining if 21 million supplies was mined? miners are getting those transfer fee of bitcoin from wallet to wallet.
yes, only that! that's why mining bitcoin is getting lower and lower. though we cant take out those miners, once they are gone the transaction of bitcoin will be a big drama problem for everyone as miner keeps us alive and better transaction is their service.

To Answer:

1. I don't think mining will stop. Why? I believe that this process will continue to evolve over the years.

2. I think in this phase, they may still gain value. If say, like gold, we've maxed out the BTC limit, it will show limited supply which will cause in increase in its value.

Mining will continue till the time Bitcoin exist and BTC has an excellent future. Mining will not stop and it will just grow as demands in the crypto world grows.

Mining will never stop as long as cryptocurrency is circulating the market. There are different coins out there which we can be mined through transferring transaction and because of that mining will never stop because it was very profitable since the value of bitcoins is very high.

I highly doubt anyone can stop mining. There are industries built around the concept of mining. But, to answer your questions
1. Never!
2. Miners will be paid directly with the fees.

Apparently, mining will stop for bitcoin once 21,000,000 are mined. Then, only existing BTC will trade? Plenty of other cryptos.

I highly doubt anyone can stop mining. There are industries built around the concept of mining. But, to answer your questions

Is not the question if it can be stopped but it will end soon. Mining will always be important more also with the blockchain transaction process. Its trading has more advantage than the mining but miners are still important to the cryptocurrency

The process is built so that mining never stops and the last coin is never earned; but the question itself is very interesting. When hundreds of years pass - what will really happen? Will be there any forks, 2.0 coins or just another coins? That's an open question in my opinion. But discussing it is interesting.

Mining can never stop because its responsible for ledger transactions and verifications. Mining is the only way BTC and Altcoins can all maintain their network scalability, and also maintain information accuracy. So there is no way at all for mining to stop because Bitcoin network will certainly be dead without miners.

Bitcoin mining will continue , even when the last btc will be mined . In this case miners will support a functioning of blockchain and will be rewarded for this with a higher % from transaction fees.

Mining can be stopped if all countries around the world forbids crypto / ICO / blockchain. But the government & banking system will use Blockchain technology and operate it with a server system to replace the VISA system. If that happens, spontaneous mining will be destroyed.

What do you mean mining will ever stop? Your bitcoin mining will stop only if you invested in site that can stand only in 20-30 days.there's a legit mining site like hashflare,minergate.

as far as my knowledge can provide the end of mining of bitcoin is stil far may be ten or twent years from now but when that will happen my friend  think btc will be even a lot more expensive i think it will reach one million dolllars because it will be a rare thing.
