Use the half for yourself and use the other for trading and expanding it.

You must use the money you have and sell it to pay your text.
What text? You mean tax?
Use the half for yourself and use the other for trading and expanding it.
It depends on how much OP invested and what is his profit, I would sell $500K, pay tax and use 100K for further investment or trading. I wonder what decision OP has made.

Its obvious that it is just a typo. For now I haven't seen on whats the actual thing being decided by op itself after creating this thread and I do still have doubts that he did actually earned this amount considering on most people this would be already big enough for you to stop but most people will really aim for more which is normal.Paying up tax is always been an obligation if government sue you out then you will really need to pay.

Hi Guys

I've been in the crypto scene for many years now, first time post here over a dilemma I am facing.

So, I am fortunate enough to make 600k from buying and trading Bitcoin and other crypto assets, and I don't know what to do with the money. Personally I think this is the year I will become a millionaire, as I can only see the marketcap of all coins growing. But friends close to me think I am an idiot for not selling yet, and if it were to collapse to zero, I would never forgive myself. But they don't know the market like I do, and I do believe that it is only the beginning. They say I should sell 95% buy a house, a car and live a nice lifestyle. I am frugal, have always lived within my means and never spent any crypto money as of yet, but I am tempted to start spending some of it now. I am 26 years old, rent an apartment and drive a car worth less than most peoples pushbikes.

My portfolio currently looks like this....

43% Raiblocks
40% Oyster Pearl
5% Enigma
4%Dash
1.5% Bitcoin
and tiny holdings in Waves, Lisk, Stratis, Game.....

I think that both XRB and PRL can double easily this year.

This is not based on greed btw, I want to make enough money so I can buy my siblings houses and see them mortgage free.

What would you do if you were me? When do we call it a day and give up trading?

Many thanks for your help in advance.

You are a newby in the forum yet you´ve made a small fortune in crypto? Ok, let´s assume that´s true and thus my advice is sell half and keep playing with the other half.

He/she maybe new in the forum but we can tell he/she is a long time trader. many traders in crypto market are just new in bitcointalk.org forum.

*** IF i were you after gaining such 600K on your holding you dont need to quit, if you want you can cash out some and make it FIAT, but leave the 50% on trading and continue what you are doing, as i see you good in this.

take out your initial amount or an amount that you feel you need to feel financial secure and continue to trade the rest, its essentially a free roll at this point and crypto is just at the starting point!

Keep on rolling it forward!

Or he will lose all.
take your initial investment out and keep the profits in. Reinvest and have fun with the market Smiley
But OP never said what is his initial investment. He said he is many years in crypto, so maybe he invested 100$? In that case taking initial investment out won't make much sense.
It always surprise me to see topic like this, like OP don't know what he will do with $600K  Cheesy

He said he put in $10k as a starting point, but where we sit now this means nothing.
I would be cashing out a good 300-500k of this and buying yourself a house, if this all goes bust you'll be working a good part of your life just to get property, atleast with a house if your value goes down you still have a house and no debt on it.

Keep trading with what's left over.

Buying a new car + going on a holiday won't get you further ahead in life, plus if you really want you can do this and still buy a house.

Saying you want to cash out $30k and spoil yourself as you've only put in $10k is the wrong way to look at it, just work out how long you'll be working hard in life to get this type of money back if you lose it.

Yeah, better to withdraw some of it and make real business but to make sure try to hold at least good amount of that so you can still able to generate some profit in the future. Don't be too greed, profit is profit better to make a good decision now and don't ever regret your decision cause you are already a winner.

If the OP is still holding those coins maybe his idea of quitting is now vanished  Cheesy
just keep on trading, there's nothing wrong with that, you deserve everything you earn in cryptocurrency as long as you don't scam someone.

I think invest your money and use it smarty for your future use.
Quitting this is not at all a very good option and that too at time when you have this much of experience and know how about the things related to its which helped you in making of this much amount of money. You actually need to stay there in this market as there are likely chances of making more money at the end and it will not be a big deal for you to make more money by doing so.
