If you are in search of altcoin to invest in and hold for a year, I think you should invest in ethereum because it is the best and most potential, valuable coin and also good for hold on long or short term. You can also invest in EOS, NEO or lietcoin, they are also god coin and also good for hold.

It's really difficult to decide on which coin will pump its way to the top, cryptocurrency market is crowded with coins and we all know the volatility of the market. I only invest on altcoins which are on top 20 list and its risky to invest on the new one. We should be careful on what coin we will be investing, because not all of them are legit.

Investing in the long term does not make sense especially in altcoins, this is a personal opinion, which I have tested many times. I think that for a whole year, investing in altcoins can bring big money, but only if you constantly update your portfolio.

for long-term investment, I bought Ethereum and I think that in a year I will get a good profit.
