Can ethereum be beat Bitcoin

Right now, fluctuations in cryptocurrency value is determined mostly by investor sentiment, not due to changes in the practicality of the coin as a payment method. Because news is now linking BTC with a correction, and ETH with a spike, there is investor efflux from BTC -> ETH. Soon enough there will be a reversal and the process will repeat.

For now, no crypto can compete with VISA, once a crypto starts becoming a real competitor, then its volatility will be affected by real world use cases.

ETh are growing as like as bitcoin .Few days  ago bitcoin pump 10000usd with a short time now eth already pump double .So we hope eth will be beat bitcoin soon just wait and see

Long term, who knows...there seems to be a bit more 'innovation' and forward thinking from ethereum, but it's not necessarily as stable. I think 2018 will be a great year for Eth, but it certainly won't overtake BTC this year.

On my own point of view I dont think ethereum can beat bitcoin because of the big gap of its price.Bitcoin has a very huge price but nothing is impossible so if that would happen it would really take time or it will take a couple of years.

Bitcoin is very high than Ethereum and could take years to tie with its value but if that happens bitcoin also increasing which enables ethereum to beat the bitcoin, Aside bitcoin is more popular and trendy so people are looking for it and not Ethereum.

Well, I don't think ethereum cannot beat bitcoin probably because bitcoin is the first ever cryptocurrency with the most highest rate ever incomparison with the newly made cryptocurrencies. Another thing, bitcoin is already in operation for almost 8 years and its current price is getting much higher than ever.
Many big corporations were already considering bitcoin as the currency that is highly accepted in their business transactions.

2018 will be a year of Ethereum just like 2017 was a year of Bitcoin. Ethereum is more innovative than Bitcoin. Ethereum is faster, has lower fees and supports smart contracts. It's not just a cryptocurrency, but also a platform for other services. Its potential is huge. I'm sure that Ethereum will be Bitcoin's successor soon.

Ethereum has a great potential and what we can be almost sure about is that ETH will not go down from this point. But will it be rising faster than Bitcoin that's a question. But I strongly agree with the opinion that 2018 is the year for Ethereum.
but bitcoin will remain the prima donna of all coins because until now Ethereum is triumphant but the coin stability is long to be broken down by Ethereum.

To my opinion no, Ethereum can't replace Bitcoin at number one position among cryptocurrencies.
Ethereum is good altcoin and worth trading and investing but it will remain just second best. Probably it will grow further and attract new investors, the price will go up, but that will not be enough to become number one.

I cant say ethereum be beat bitcoin with its phase right now bitcoin is the most used by many. Also, ethereum has the big help to all the users because in this way many have gain profit from eth. So this means, ethereumm has the big impact to each users but for now it cannot beat bitcoin.

there is a possibility,  if bitcoin blockchain traffic and delays continues.. anyways the energy consumption of etherium is way too less in comparison to Bitcoin.bitcoin takes more time to transmit the coins while Etherium is very fast.

Yes it is really informative information. Bitcoin area is several less than the area of Ethereum. Many altcoin companies accept Ethereum rather than bitcoin . One day Ethereum can goes on the top of all currency.

Ethereum is a very good cryptocurrency next to bitcoin. But interms of price the two has a huge gap.
So i dont think ethereum will beat bitcoin, rightnow bitcoin value is still high, and ethereum value is also increasing.

As we all know that Bitcoin is the mother of all crypto currencies. I believe that Ethereum will not be able to surpass Bitcoin because as we compare the volume and its price is very incomparable. Also, many people would prefer to buy Bitcoin because they can use it to pay their monthly bills thru online such as electricity, water, telephone, insurance and many more, without any hassle and free of charge. Many merchants accepted Bitcoin as mode of exchange by buying thing thru online stores. This can also be used in trading as the price right now is stable so we better to buy now and the price will increase as speculated by next month. So we better to buy now and hold.

Ethereum is moving at a good pace but i highly doubt it would get to bitcoin or surpass it.. But then again, nobody ever thought bitcoin would get to where it is now, so at this point i prefer to say anything is possible.

Yes ethereum is showing impressive value but I don't think it can bea bitcoin. Bitcoin despite of its decreasing value still remains the top cryptocurrency (for me). It have been in the market for long time and already reached almost $20k. However bitcoin still have to improve its transaction especially the traffic on blockchain as it causes high fees. But I think bitcoin have a way out of it so I still go for bitcoin.

I understand what you're talking about. But it seems you are based only on pricing. Here they do not need to be compared. Because bitcoin is already known to the world of brokers and traders, and the ether follows, it is still paid too little attention in the media. i dont think ethereum will easily defeat bitcoin even in far future, because rightnow there are still more investors using bitcoin for trading. bitcoin is still the most profitable way for us to invest. so investors wont easily quit on bitcoin to invest in other altcoins.

I look forward to see how far Ethereum can go. I believe it has chances, but still, it's gonna take a lot of time and effort.
