Bitcoin will fall down. There are many alt coins who are strategically following bitcoin path, and one day any crypto will take position of what bitcoin holds today. Maybe even more stronger.

It's far possible that Ethereum beat Bitcoin, as Bitcoin's popularity grew so much and even had its bashers and haters. Ethereum only have low popularity and its price is still low and high risk of not growing that up high.

My friend would not be impossible, since Ethereum of all the existing cryptocurrencies is second in command after BTC, it is above the rest. So at some point you can do it, you just need better strategies for the market to help your sale

the price of ethereum is rising right now and decreases the price of bitcoin but does not mean ethereum can reach the value of bitcoin because bitcoin is the most boss of all cryptocurrency. in bitcoin everyone converts the exchange of tokens and if bitcoin does not have your tokens worth and your etherium will not be cash if you can not convert it to btc to php

Logically speaking, at some point of time if you are looking at a big sum of money to enter either bitcoin or ethereum, which will you choose?
Bitcoin will still be the better choice due to the active usage, trading volume and price. Ethereum wise, although majority of coins are built on its network, it is not as popular for a payment method (aside for ICO and exchanges). Furthermore Bitcoin has already been recognised as the main digital currency much earlier than any of the other coins that has rise to fame. So it is almost impossible for Ethereum price to exceed Bitcoin or even come near to it.

btc seems really quite in the last few weeks, investors now think that they may have better profit with alt coins.

i think that is just a phase, but eth market cap this year will rise more than btc market cap imho.

Ethereum is actually not far from Beating Bitcoin, but, we must keep in mind that Bitcoin has a maximum supply of 16 millions and Ethereum a maximum supply 3-4 times bigger. So the prices might never meet.

Don't worry about your English it is perfectly understood. The possibility for all cyptocurrencies is unlimited, and beating their fellow crypto is not impossible as well. I look forward to see how far Ethereum can go. I believe it has chances, but still, it's gonna take a lot of time and effort.

At late 2017 bitcoin price soaring massively and at the beginning of 2018 ethereum and some alts have a good price increase. The chance for ethereum to beat bitcoin is exist and I wish it will be happened soon!

It is possible that etherium may beat bitcoin but I think it will not happen soon. There maybe large differences when it comes to the changes of bitcoin's price but I think more people are still committed here. Ethereum is good as well as Bitcoin especially when it comes to trading, but I think bitcoin is better because of its accessibility  that's why I think people will still go with bitcoin.

It is actually possible.

No one can tell you that for sure ETH will supplant BTC but.. it is indeed possible.

BTC has been created long ago and will remain as the "historical" crypto money. But truth is that currently there are many people facing huge issues regarding their use of bitcoin. Transfers can be slow, very expensive... So maybe the solution is to switch to another crypto.

Yet, I don't think so. Because what we lack for the moment, are the technical means. So let's invest in the necessary technology and physical support instead of switching to any other crypto. ETH will face the same issues if people choose it instead of BTC...

The chances are less because the availability of ethereum and bitcoin is plays a big part in the prices.Bitcoin availability is 21 Million but ethereum us unlimited so they can make as much as ethereum they want if they do the supply will be high and the demand will be less so bitcoin will be high in my opinion.

I think not. Bitcoin will also be on the top. The only thing that ethereum can reach is it price but can't break bitcoin.

First place always will belong to Bitcoin. But battle for second one will be in the futures. ETH has Vitalik and he is a locomotive of all process and development and advertising.
Vitalik and ETH will be at second place and you need to have great opportunities to change that.

it is difficult to say at the moment. however, i think ETH will be best performing crypto in 2018. in the long run also, ETH will continue to rise as more applications are built on it.
