it is impossible, because Bitcoin comes first from Etherium. the current price difference is very much different. so I still think it will not be possible

For me ethereum is more valuable then bitcoin. Bitcoin is great, but its just an cryptocurrency with an old technology. Transaction very slow and fees to high. On ethereum it is everything much faster and cheaper. And the ethereum plattform has a smartcontract blockchain, which allows to create tools on the blockchain. They are already running a lot of project on the ethereum blockchain, and it will be more and more in the future. Soi think in future there will be more people using ethereum then bitcoin.

For the best of my knowledge there is possibility that ethereum can beat bitcoin, Reason for saying this is that over 90% of crypto investors are looking for profitability, stability, less transaction charges, fast confirmation etc. If blockchain can not resolve the traffic on their network, I tell you it will reduce investor and they will definitely start looking for another coin to invest.

Maybe yes, maybe not. Etherium has grown faster in the fast few years but since then it hasn't yet beat bitcoin. But we can let it know when the time comes, maybe it'll take few more years to etherium fully overgrowth bitcoin.

Personally, I admire Ethereum more than BitCoin, but it is very difficult to predict who will win the contest or when.

Currently Bitcoin is the king of the cryptocurrency market, it's the strongest of all, it's valuable and the market cap is huge. Ethereum is the queen next to Bitcoin, it is always second, it has a huge support community, and professional development team. However, I think it will take a lot of time if Ethereum wants to beat Bitcoin. Just when Bitcoin is weakening and Ethereum growing stronger, there are more advantages than Ethereum's chance to defeat Bitcoin.

it's still a speculation if ethereum can beat bitcoin because now this bitcoin is still the best. bitcoin will continue to run and continue to be high but ethereum will also continue to be one of the coins that have high potential.

i personally think ETH can never have a chance to defeat bitcoin even in far future, most of altcoin have been born after bitcoin can not have the chance to defeat bitcoin no matter how good they are, while investors all around the world are still  using bitcoin as their main income, and bitcoin dominance is still above 40% of all coins for many years, meanwhile, ETH dominance is always below 20%, can not have the chance to be compared with btc rightnow, but we will never know exactly what will happen in the future, ETH is still very powerful, so lets just wait and see.

Even if ETH is the digital currency next to bitcoin, but still, bitcoin will always be the leader of the pack. It's market cap is almost thrice the amount of ETH and of course, you can not dictate the people to demand on ETH than BITCOIN.

People seriously need to stop creating this kind of threads, we all know that ethereum is never going to be the same as bitcoin, and this is because they both have different purposes.

Also, bitcoin has x3 of the ethereum marketcap

Bitcoins are the king of the Crypto market, but they are not one of the hottest coin present. BTCs are only for a long time, so they are still the leading coin. ETH is a popular coin with many more features than the BTC. So they can compete with BTC in the near future.

At present, the high price of ETH is not based on its application, but more is the popularity of private projects. When will there be a correction? When private equity falls or breaks, ETH falls. So I said ETH had a hard time beating bitcoin.

Ethereum is mooning incredibly with stability, But bitcoin still a volatile coin. Lots of crypto expert telling that 2018 Will be for Ethereum. So, what do you think, Can Ethereum beat Bitcoin?

Sorry For bad English. I am trying to improve it.

Thank You, everyone.

I'd love to see that. I believe in ETH  Cool

No I don't think so that etherium have so much power that it can beat btcoin. Although ETH is doing very well if we look from ICO to till today. It started from less than a dollar and now it's around 1K dollar. May be after 5 or 10 year it may become so strong that it can beat BTC. I cannot see in near future

although ethereum can beat bitcoin in the future, right now, it still difficult since bitcoin still in the first position in the coinmarketcap and still lead the cryptocurrency. besides that, I am not sure that ethereum can compete with bitcoin because bitcoin has a big fan right now and people still searching a profit from bitcoin and if they get a profit with ethereum, they convert it into bitcoin so they can have much choice to buy another coin.

Ethereum as the biggest rival of bitcoin. The difference in market growth is what drives some people to suggest that Ethereum quickly become Bitcoin's biggest rival for the top spot in the crypto world in Crete. Ethereum is only available for two years, while Bitcoin has been in the market for over a decade. Actually, Bitcoin's age may be a barrier and even sparked a debate about how to measure Bitcoin's network in order to accommodate the rapidly growing pool of Bitcoin users and transactions get very hot.

I do not think any coin can beat easily  bitcoin  but if it does it will probably be Ethereum. Ethereum is very strong project with a bright future. I believe in it. And I am also hol Ethereum for long term. I don’t think that I would sell them in near future.
