I heard that investing in bitcoin is dangerous. How true is this?  There is advantages and disadvantages of bitcoin. For me the advantages is investing in bitcoins is good when you hold your coins for a long time. This means investing for a long term of period while the disadvantage is that when you joined the high yield investment program of bitcoins or HYIP that you can earn more at the highest interest rate but in the short time it will become scam. So better invest bitcoins by just simply holding it. |

And many traders are too selfish because when prices go high they see the profits they can get so they sell all of their Bitcoin that causes prices to go down. |

It is dangerous if you don't know what you are doing. Like investing all you money in bitcoin and buying bitcoin at a high price. Which is much the same as investing in stocks. Or even not protecting your password or private key for your wallet. Which is much the same as your online bank account or credit card. In short, bitcoin is as much a danger as everything we have been doing before.

Bitcoin is approximately as dangerous as carrying around cash in a wallet. If you lose the wallet, or it gets stolen, then your money is probably gone. This is analogous to having your private keys or seed phrase stolen (although this is much more difficult than stealing your cash wallet). If you don't take the time to adequately understand what you're dealing with, you may end up victim to a scam, similar to how telemarketers pray on the unknowing.
Simply this, take your time, understand how the technology works, learn how to protect your assets, and then invest.

investing in bitcoin is depend on your judgment weather you want to invest your money for some time or for a whole year or more long term. before taking your final decisoin you can enquiry about it or you can have information from market and after that you can earn money in coming years by getting profit.

The fact that the Bitcoin exchange rate has been decreasing recently has led to a gradual decline in investment in Bitcoin and more investment in altcoins in the early part of 2018. For me it is risky because you don't know if the price is going up and down so if you want to invest in a long term you should wait the bitcoin price if it is higher but now the bitcoin price is higher so it's better to invest now.in fact you have to take a risk for that investment.

There are a lot of HYIP out there and there is a really big risk of losing your bitcoin in investing on HYIP sites so if you want to be safe from them, then you should avoid investing on it. There are a lot of danger on losing your bitcoin like losing your private key or sending it to someone you didn't know etc. So invest what you can afford to lose. |

I think investing on bitcoin is safe. It is safer than investing on ico. Bitcoin price must be increase day by day and you can get profit. But you need to wait till the price rising. So it is a wise decision to invest on bitcoin.
You have a point, but for me I think some Icos have potentials now so it is still better to invest on some altcoins now compared to btc that is very unstable now. Anyway, there is always a risk when you invest, so better invest what you can afford to lose. |

Yes it is very dangerous because it has a high volatility, meaning it can rapidly increase or decrease and its very unpredictable in terms of its movement. Due to high demand by mean time, the price starts to hike and when it will happen they will sell their bitcoins and so the price decreases. It is a win or lose situation when you get there, better have datas to study and lots of patience.
