I really think we must spend money for both.bitcoin is the mother of market, but it's too expensive for daily use. eth and some other coins may play a better role in real world use of crypto.

both are good investments in 2018.I think both have potential. consider both Bitcoin and Ethereum as both were alredy known  by many people and the demands by people is higher than other coins.

Bitcoin or Ethereum, Which of these coins will rule in 2018?

I will go for Bitcoin. Bitcoin will still rule the cryptocurrency. No coins can overtake the price of bitcoin as the year ends. It will go higher and lower as time, but I beleive it will still maintain its lead. Bitcoin is the first and the original coins we have, very expensive and valuable one. So, I will still choose Bitcoin.

Bitcoin for sure, without an iota of doubt. Tell me what is ethereum actually used for today except to fund ICO's. The answer is nothing, absolutely nothing at all.

What do you mean by saying 'rule in 2018'?
If you are talking about which coin will be no.1 in market cap, my bet is ethereum, though I love bitcoin very much.

Being the number one cryptocurrency in the market needs a satisfying value. Bitcoin is still on the top of having the highest value even it dropped from 20000 back to 8000 or less. Ethereum boosts its value but it also drops its value. We all can't say what will happen next, if it will be the boom or the bust period. On this year I am hiping that most of cryptocurrencies recover their price and if that happens, I think BTC will rule in 2018.

Bitcoin will still reign in the year 2018. Many of the experts have said it and also famous people. That's why we try to save even 1 Bitcoins just in case the price goes up there we have bitcoins.

The main coin is always bitcoin. But for 2018 I would advise to create a portfolio of several coins: bitcoin, etherium, dash and a few other coins that you like.

As it seems to me, both options are good enough, they are both popular and have a huge potential to be leading for a long time in the world of crypto currency

Bitcoin or Ethereum, Which of these coins will rule in 2018?

We all have various of aspects of what coins will rule the 2018 but for me is still the Bitcoin, remember the suddenly pump up this last year, the pump was big and many people notice it and invest through bitcoin. And then my conclusion is it would pump up again back to normal , the eth is seems fine and going strong though, but for me still the bitcoin is one of the best coins , hoping and waiting though.

Bitcoin will still rule in term of marketcap. For price wise, both BTC and ETH will have good gain. Hence I will choose to invest in both coins.

Get a bag of both, it has a great potential at the end of the year 2018.

Prediction:

BTC - $8000 to $25000
ETH - $800 to $3000-$4000

I think we will see another evolution in the price of both Bitcoin and Ethereum by the end of 2018. I think this will be the year when people finally turn their heads at cryptocurrency and blockchain technologies.

I will stay in bitcoin because the price of ethereum will not matter if there is no bitcoin because the price of the altcoins are always dependent on the changes in price of bitcoin. If you are playing safe then why not just grab them both because it is beneficial for you to have both so you will not miss any great thing between those two coin.

I don't think there needs to be only of these ruling. All of them have potential to rise a lot. I prefer Eth after what has happened with btc txs fees, but bitcoin will always be there as a flagship of the whole industry. Don't forget about ltc though Smiley
