Bitcoin will be the mainstay of the cryptocurrency. And the ethereum is his right hand. These two cryptocurrencies should have a good growth in 2018, after all, many implementations of both bitcoin and etherium

I think bitcoin first. BUT think of it ! if you are observing CMC soin market cap you will definitely see the graphs and pattern all cryptocurrency have the same almost the same behavior in the graph. and it is based on how bitcoin will move. SO I should probably say that they will same rule the 2018.
but if you have small assets Ethereum is the best choice after all

ETH is growing in utility but at the same time it will also grow in value.  Bitcoin is the same way because it is largely still the main gateway.  There are more BTC/ALT-Coin markets than any other market.  But that is changing.

Personally, I like them both but for obvious reason I buy more ETH than BTC (ETH is just cheaper).

I'm not so sure bitcoin will soar to epic highs as many claim.  I think it's more likely that we see more volatile swings but as time goes on and legitimacy of crypto grows we will see less attention on bitcoin and a fairer distribution of market share towards other coins.

For now, bitcoin maintains the tight grip on all the markets.

Bitcoin or Ethereum, Which of these coins will rule in 2018?

I prefer both of the coins , as of now some other say that it's a year of alt coins but we really don't know as of now these both coins are increasing , maybe bitcoin still the number one in 2018.

for the time being, Bitcoin remains a very difficult peak for Ethereum to replace Bitcoin because its value is still quite far away. But in the world of crypto nothing is impossible, so we await the development of Ethereum in the future, whether ETH can replace the BTC in the future or not

The door is wide open for blockchains that use smart contracts, like ethereum, and I believe their potential market dwarfs that of "store of value" chains. Platforms like ethereum are an operating system for decentralized finance and commerce. Ethereum has shown a dedication to innovation at all costs and an effectiveness that leaves no doubt that it will be the main platform for blockchain application development for years to come. This year and beyond, ethereum will continue to evolve and power applications will drive the next technology age.

BTC is always my first choice. ETH is a nice option but i will not put all my crypto on ETH.
I am holding ETH and BTC so its the safiest way for me.
ETH support is around 350$ and btc support is around 6000$ i will buy from there again

I prefer ethereum this year. There are lots of ICO using smart contracts like ethereum so there is no doubt that ethereum price will rise this year. We can noticed the dedication of ethereum on its innovative way and development. I am not comparing about the price since bitcoin price gap is way far to ethereum what I am trying to compare is the percentage difference.

I think BTC will still be King Crypto in 2018, and ETH will still be the runner up. But I still like ETH because its development is very fast compared to BTC, other than that when BTC up ETH will also go up.

Bitcoin would be the leading coins above all, its hard to replace bitcoin because it was the first and very well known even for new people in this industry. Eth still have a long work to do.

Both are good. But I personally bet on Bitcoin in 2018. Hope to see new record highs this year.

Yes, even if it will soar to record prices, what changed that? you're not 100 coins, so pure to surprise yourself, well, then I will please you, because this year it will cost more than 20 000$

always the bitcoin that will still reign in 2018. Just look at the price of ethereum is now very far down, very far below the bitcoin. bitcoin will be hard to replace because there are still many devotees. maybe bitcoin can be replaced, but maybe a few more years. and if bitcoin is lost or not lead, it maybe a substitute also ethereum.

Bitcoin or Ethereum, Which of these coins will rule in 2018?
coin is superior now Bitcoin with good profit and many investors who invest in Bitcoin, and for now the market price is unstable causing price declines beberpa coin crypto of course Bitcoin also included, and since the market price is unstable slowly Ethereum started had a pretty good rise for now I think Ethereum could reach its peak in 2018.

On capitalization Ethereum may soon overtake bitcoin, but I believe that its leadership positions at the price of a coin bitcoin is unlikely to give way to Ethereum.

Sovryn - Brings DeFi to Bitcoin

If you read the comments in this thread from the beginning until the end, you will notice that posts from January were saying that Ethereum would be the best coin in 2018, now we have April and Ethereum isn't as popular as they thought it would be, so people post that Bitcoin will be better this year. This proves that this market is volatile and that this market can easily be manipulated by high profile investors.
I personally believe that Ethereum will rise in value, maybe not as high as Bitcoin but it will be much more popular in the end. At the same time, the behaviour of ETH will determine what will happen with ICOs too.
