I checked, really mining at the GPU is unprofitable.  Nvidia 1060 6GB gives only about 1Kh.
It is a good coin for mine on CPU, this is quite an interesting topic in our time, it is likely that the coin can fire and a great future will await it.

I would urge you to download the java-based wallet!
It works on Windows, and this way you own the private key right of the bat!

makewallet.online gives me 504 Gateway Time-out

Anyone able to get the mac wallet working? I just downloaded it & when I try to open it, it just closes. (There seems to be a process to it, but it's all in Japanese)

Anyone with a solution here? Same problem on my end. Maybe the dev can check himself?

Nevermind, I went with the web wallet instead and I'm straight away mining with minerd.  

I would have preferred to run a daemon but it seems you're lacking a lot of essential basic documentation at the moment.


Also, if you hit ctrl-c on the daemon (command prompt on win10) it just hangs the window instead of exiting and task manager still shows the same CPU usage for kotod. You have to close the window to stop it.
