I think BTC is just taking a rest and will wake up soon  Although I have high hopes for ETH since it is used widely nowadays as a Bitcoin alternative, I still see that the future is in Bitcoin. Yes, I agree. I think bitcoin will still be on top because it is the most widely accepted coin worldwide and it is the most popular among all. |

I think it's going to be Bitcoin. We are also going to see continued adoption of Lightning Network, and Rootstock helping improve Bitcoin. I think Ethereum still faces a ton of problems like scalability for one thing.

Personally I believe Etherium will replace Bitcoin in the long run, but for this year, Bitcoin will still be the King of crypto. It is not easy to defeat the King, perhaps we would see that in five years from now.

Absolutely yes,
Ethereum will win since 2018 the ico or token offers taking over a whole of crypto space and more country joining this hype.
There is at least a high probality that Etherem will become more widely used than Bitcoin take over it’s marketshare as utility token will start to play bigger roles in transformative projects, not just reduced to a payment option. Additionaly Bitcoin gets some marketshare eaten away from all it’s forks. |

Of course bitcoin. if you ask about of altcoins, ETH is have a chance to be the king of altcoins.
I believe in ETH, they will be the king in the market in 2018. At present ETH is being widely disseminated, ethereum blockchain is one of the most popular intelligent contract in its kind, so in the future. They will boom and prices will be higher than BTC. |

That will be the King in 2018 is still Bitcoin. I predict this year is still for Bitcoin. I believe the end of 2018 Bitcoin price will touch very high value. I know if the development of Ethereum is so fast but Bitcoin will remain King and become the first best coin. |

Bitcoin will remain the main perimeter. Other than that, perhaps to see the race for #2 spots, Ripple, Ethereum, Bitcoin Cash NEO, Ada, EOS, IOTA etc. Overall, 2018 has been really sluggish up to now. But i am will still bullish on crypto to another bull run perhaps on Q3.

The Crypto king of 2018 will go to Bitcoin. There is no point of denying or debating about this matter.
Yes I know Bitcoin has been taking some hits lately but because of my belief in the Cryptocurrency I know that Bitcoin will bounce back eventually; And it will remain leading the pack as usual.
I must say that I would like to see Ethereum as king but unfortunely Bictoin is very popular amongst the Crypto community and it is the first coin people hear about when they hear anything about the Crypto world.
Please note that this is just my own opinion I "might" be wrong.

Absolutely btc, since it has established its reputation for quite sometime now. Many investors still postulate their money on this coin. On other hand eth could be the next in line but it is way to far to exceed btc.

My guess is Ethereum, because bitcoin had its stardom last year and so I think or hopefully Ethereum wins this title this year. But I wouldn’t wonder if ever bitcoin still wins the title this year too.

Yeah, BTC won't moon this year. I think that NEO , ETH, ADA will show much more results. Well, this is my opinion and I grow these positions in my portfolio. BTC isn't priority for me.
On the other hand I assume that some ICOs like Quarkchain can become much more potential than current famous projects

in terms of total marketcap btc will be king , bcoz btc is still dominating 38% of the market so in this year ether or other coin cant take over btc , even for coming 2-3 years btc will be on 1st rank .
if we talk about % gain , then any new coin will be king in highest gain . it can be any of the most hyped ico of this year which sold out in seconds . it also could be an airdrop project like polymath which mainly cover security tokens market .

I don't know 2018 but long term I think payfair has a good chance to see big gains, it's really undervalued right now considering they already have a working product which most coins don't. They are always updating their website and the devs are really active, I threw some money into it, 10 or 20x is easily achievable.
