I'm sure this year is still for Bitcoin. And I firmly believe that in 2018 this is the permanent King of Bitcoin and Ethereum cannot replace that position. It may take several more years for Ethereum to be like Bitcoin.

For me,there's no one can beat the one and only,and still the king of crypto the bitcoin. Ethereum will remain as a secondary,but it will never overcome the bitcoin.

I don't understand why you keep on comparing the throne of bitcoin to any other coin. Eth is far away from bitcoin just calculate the total supply of bitcoin and ETH.

It only means that ETH is no match for it and we all know that bitcoin is the crypto king of all. What I'm saying that you should stop looking for another king in the crypto market, bitcoin is here to stay and it won't be replaced for this generation.

If there will be another better coin, we will see but this comparison is totally useless so don't ask as if there's a competition on who's going to be the winner.

With this current market price performance in which all coins are in difficult then therefore i could say still Bitcoin is the top ranked among the other Altcoins or a king. Altcoins will now face its difficult challenges of banning the crypro advertisements on June which means if the banning will be fully effect then for sure the investments for the altcoins will be affected too. Unlike Bitcoin in which it doesn't need to be promoted and advertise.

It should be definitely Bitcoin, the crypto king of 2018 and all time favorite is Bitcoin. There is no alternative for Bitcoin in terms of market cap, price, craze and familiarity among people for Bitcoin. I think very strange what doesnt have some right project a casino on blockchain. After all blockchain solved the importand problem all gambing - thee problem of confidence. Why?..

It seems that this year no one will win, except those who successfully and most importantly in time merged their savings. And now you can re-enter and sell at the end of the year, and those who have decided to hold coins of their portfolio for a long time will still not reimburse all losses for the remaining time.

It is difficult to conclude who the winner will be. Ethereum should grow independently from the price fluctuations of bitcoin. Many altcoins including ethereum always react every time the bitcoin price falls. Bitcoin will remain to be the crypto king  it because it make the prices of all cryptocurrencies to go down or up.

I still believe that Bitcoin will continue to be the King of crypto this 2018 and no doubt about that, i mean the market and community that the Bitcoin has, ain't easy to overthrow. Yes the it's taking a big hit right now but surely just like the previous years, it always find a way back by the last quarter of the year, so I believe that Bitcoin will continue to reign for more years to come or even decades, even with all new coins, surely the Bitcoin will prevail.

I personally hope it wont. Bitcoin is the reason so many alt coins can't reach their full potential. We need more fiat pairs so bitcoin wont be the deciding factor for all the market all the time. It's fine to hope for bitcoin to reach the ATH again and what not but I personally don't think it's the best thing to happen.

We can see that bitcoin marketcap is still the largest of all cryptocurrencies. as well as the volumes of money that are circulating in the bitcoin market each day. it proves that bitcoin is their main coin for users. Ethereum itself occupies second position for the largest marketcap. but despite so many people investing in other altcoins. still they will definitely use bitcoin as their reference

if we talk about the king, of course the main coin will remain as the king because of how many users used it. im talking about bitcoin. it will stay remain the king of crypto. even if it has a great dump in this past month but still it remains as a king. Because some of coins will follow only in the prices of bitcoin so i think no coin can replace the throne of bitcoin and and the next to the king will be ethereum.

I will say that BTC is king for now. Even if things are up and down fluctuating keep an eye on the prize and keep in mind longterm how the king has performed in good and bad times.

This is a solid project that is aiming to bring in the masses with their arbitrage exchange and easy to use interface for novice/beginner users. They should be able to give many other leaders a good run for the top positions with their huge proposition. Naturally, Bitcoin will remain the king for a very long time. At least, this year and in 2019 it will be the market leader. However, I can easily admit that Ethereum can lead the market in few years.
