This can not make sense practically until the problem of high transaction fees and delayed bitcoin confirmation is solved.  IMO

As I have made research a while ago Yes Kentucky Fried Chicken (KFC) has A "Limited Time marketing promotion" for a “Bitcoin Bucket” and was launched Thursday afternoon by the quick-serve restaurant chain — so limited, in fact, that it appeared to sell out of the ten-piece chicken buckets entirely between 10 a.m. and 11 a.m. ET on Friday. .. But ofcourse not everyone knows about bitcoin so I do not think everyone can cope to this promotion...but for us bitcointer that is another way of promoting our dear bitcoin.. I know there are large companies that accepting bitcoin nowadays thats why ...only the large people can benefit in easy using bitcoin but if they will also introduce it to the fast-food chain like KFC maybe even the commoner or simple people like me  can benefit too to bitcoin. no mpre cash debit or credit just cryptocurrency...
The Bitcoin software, network, and concept is called "Bitcoin" with a capitalized "B". Bitcoin currency units are called "bitcoins" with a lowercase "b" -- this is often abbreviated BTC.

wonder how people will pay a 15$ meal with bitcoin if the fee is 20$, that makes no sense at all. i think it's just some marketing gimmick, nothing more.

😂 it is impractical to pay extra 5$(in btc) just to have meal unless you are really very hungry. In times that I am hungry and only KFC is available, then I will not use btc , I will use fiat.

Yeah, I think its a marketing stunt of KFC hoping to get more customers. I think they should be changing the currency that they will accept or they will not get good amount of bitcoin users.

Actually I think it's a PR trick, but they may also look unto the future where we will not have physical money and use bitcoins only:)
It was a bit harsh but you have made your point. It would be really stupid to spend your Bitcoin on something like chicken leg piece or chips. At least, it is at the present moment because Bitcoin can be used for more sensible purposes. I do want to see Bitcoin in micropayments but for the time being, the best is to hold on this coin until all the crypto currencies go mainstream.

at the moment I think not, because bitcoin's not everyone knows it yet, so companies like KFC have no payment facility with bitcoin, that's what happened in my place.

Really? I think this time is not a good time to implement bitcoin transaction on small transaction like buy a chicken and soft drink with current bitcoin transaction fees. Maybe the transaction fees more expensive than the original price for chicken lol.

This is the most wonderful news in the last days, along with payments in the network lightning. I hope in the near future I will be able to buy fried wings and Pepsi, using a lightning net.

if kfc received bitcoin it is good news for me, because i will eat chicken every day. there are now many places to eat that bitcoin but do not cheer. lucky for those who use bitcoin as a transaction in kfc, will my country kfc already accept bitcoin? but in my country still not because I have tried it in kfc nearby. all aitu have to wait for confirmation if want to do it. bitcoin is good in the market until there are so many shops and eating places, its future changes with bitcoin.

In my opinion pay for fast food Bitcoins stupid. There are more important purchases that are worth paying Bitcoins. But I like that some suppliers of goods and services have accepted crypto currency as a method of payment. This is a big step.

I don't think that bitcoin can be used as payment in KFC or any other stores. Because If you pay the chicken that time with a certain amount BTC. What if tomorrow the price of BTC Increased very much. The price of BTC to buy chicken would never be the same. And you might regret that you bought that chicken for that amount. So therefore, I don't support Fastfoodchains or restaurant or Stores accept bitcoin as payment.

Good idea for KFC since bitcoins are very in demand right now. With them accepting bitcoins at even the lowest price would allow them to make investments in the future. Collecting bitcoins now specially with this kind of volume would give them a lot of profits in the future.

I think if KFC accept bitcoin they made a good decision because many investors can open their partnership into it and it can possible to make a way of paying it online with a good ways of fees in paying it and I think I can use my bitcoin now to buy there a food here in my country.

KFC ? for bitcoin accumulation? it will be a blast for KFC! The number one and all time high cryptocurrency will be available as a method of paying in KFC will be a very great news for all of us, though not us all like the KFC. Its a good move for KFC as bitcoin has a lot potential to grow more though its currently dropping but it will not last for a long time its just a matter of cooldown.

I LOL'd  Cheesy

$20 in fee's with an hour or two or 30 TX wait time for $20 worth of crappy food.

Even if i did like KFC and i do not.. I don't see BTC as a usable currency anymore with high fee's and slow times.
There is a problem and it needs to be addressed (with Bitcoin)

But i tip my hat to KFC though they are the smart ones in this deal.. really clever of them in a bunch of ways.

FUD first & ask questions later™

When that happens, the bitcoin will be become legal in our country.
And i will not waste my bitcoin just to pay for food if not really needed! I'd rather use cash than bitcoin for payment.

I've heard of that a lot of times and it keeps on surprising me.When I've heard before that Mcdonalds will accept bitcoin, I thought that it is the only fast food restaurant that will accept bitcoin and I was surprised that KFC will also do the same thing. It is an advantage for us bitcoin users because it will be easier for us  to afford or buy foods at these restaurants without any hassle.
