When that happens, the bitcoin will be become legal in our country. And i will not waste my bitcoin just to pay for food if not really needed! I'd rather use cash than bitcoin for payment.
I agree with you. It is a food which can be paid by a cash but using bitcoin as payment for chicken, I do not think so. Bitcoin price can goes up to that price of chicken so paying them with bitcoin is a waste. But is a good news since people will be much informed about bitcoin.

I will never use bitcoin to pay for a KFC unless I am too hungry and have no cash available. To pay off, we lose the transaction fee as too much damage. Moreover, the btc price fluctuations can not afford to pay the right value ... this is a wisdom of KFC

Yes paying bitcoin for food is not a good idea for people , using bitcoin for bigger expense is the best thing because if you waste your bitcoin's for smaller uses you earnings will be affected by that so expense your bitcoin's correctly and usefully .

Yeah, nice, guys, but won't it be the same as the first Pizza bought with Bitcoins? How much did it cost back in 2011? 2000 BTC? I don't want to cry in 10 years, remembering the 200,000$ basket of fried chicken legs, y'know

I would say it is good that bitcoin can now be used as a payment for basic necessities such as food however the cost of missed opportunity will always be there because id the fact that you can earn money in btc just by holding it instead of spending it

That's a terrible idea, can't you imagine the mini heart attack you will have when you buy a piece of hamburger or some fried chicken and after a while the price of bitcoin will rise and you realise that you bought a quite worthless piece of meat for 200 dollars or more.

I thin it could be an amazing idea to have a fast food chain that will accept bitcoin as a payment but the problem is fast food chains and other stores have a taxes so how they will pay their taxes if the payment is in online.

I'm not gonna pay for fried chicken with bitcoin, period, unless I'm starving and have no fiat in my ppcket, bank, or hidden under the mattress. I'm not exactly the definition of a hodler, but it strikes me as a big waste to buy something with bitcoin that's going to end up in the septic tank. Makes sense, right?
The other thing is that it's totally impractical, with the outrageous fees and confirmation times. That's going to be some seriously cold chicken after 1 confirmation--and I can pay with fiat for free.
This looks nice if they accepted bitcoin which many bitcoiners always been there for ordering in KFC branches. And if will be happen the bitcoin will recognize not only KFC but also for all the fastfood company, because i know it will spread it out and recognize by other competitive fastfood company.I hope it will be happen which the bitcoiners like me were so proud also.

The more mainstream big companies that accept it, the more "legitimate" it becomes, which is good for all of us hodlers. So, I say this is great news!

what are the fees going to be? It's definitely high and don't expect a low fee because we knew that the fee is high yet have a slow confirmation. The fee maybe range at the half of the price of chicken bucket. Would you still gonna use your bitcoin to buy? Nah, I don't think so and personally I just save my bitcoin rather than use it.

McDonald's already said they would accept Bitcoin and they haven't yet so what makes this any more likely to change. what are the fees going to be? It's definitely high and don't expect a low fee because we knew that the fee is high yet have a slow confirmation. The fee maybe range at the half of the price of chicken bucket. Would you still gonna use your bitcoin to buy? Nah, I don't think so and personally I just save my bitcoin rather than use it. Hopefully the lightning network will solve these problems and people will be able to make small purchases again. This doesn't mean they can't accot other coins. They should make their own coin I think. KFCcoin.
