I am not playing with any kind of gambling, but for me the best options to take the best coin is the ETH, coz I must prefer with that coins.

If you play with ETH and lose out in gambling it means you even lose the ETH coin. This mean you are directly making a huge potential loss when the coin price rises you will not be able to make the benefit of that rise. So choose wisely any coins you play with.

I would prefer also the doge coin. My point of view in terms of selecting in which coin is the best is by choosing the coin has a low volume of trading or has cheap price. We all know that bitcoin and ethereum has a higher volume of traders that's why there's always a congestion in network and the fees is really high. While if you choose a coin where there's a low volume of traders and low fees, it would be easy for you to use it in gambling.

I still think bitcoin is the best coin to gamble, not to see what the current bitcoin price is only from the exchange side, more alternatives and easier, unlike other new coins, because maybe the first bitcoin appears to be the most wallet exchange

For me personally it matters because I tried a lot of different strategies and using different coins would allow me to simulate what the possibility of having that amount of Bitcoins for example 0.01 in LTC.  just like that but it still has a risk but it could still help you in understanding different ways to gamble with strategies.

Still the best is btc for gambling but sometimes when you deposit and withdraw it takes time to come in into your account that's why I'm using now ethereum for much speedy transaction. I'm also using ethereum classic now for some fun in my game.

Sometime I also uses doge coin because of its small price can play more than btc.

I believe in cash because you will have no tension of getting paid of your wins. Digital currency cannot feel as tangible one and you will be happy to get your winning amount on the spot. So I think that if I gamble in casino I will prefer hard money instead of digital currency. I will be mentally relaxed and there will be tension of withdrawal and anything else.

I read more about RaiBlocks looks as the future for onchain gambling, with those fast transactions and the non blocks feature should be almost instant.

Personally i has been playing with clam coin in the past weeks. I like the 1 minute block feature and there are some fun sites for it. You can give it a try on Just-Dice or Clambling by LuckyBit.

But you don't need monero in your daily life use of monero is needed only in some situations like maybe when you are using the dark web or doing something that is illegal , ltc is still faster than bitcoin but I'm still happy with the current speed it is way better than it was few weeks ago
