I've been hearing that the FBI and SEC are now investing Kraken as a big "inside-job" has happened during the update and all user funds have disappeared. This will be even bigger than the demise of Mt Gox.

Guys.... You should begin to accept that everything you have on Kraken has been lost and cannot be recovered as they even forgot to lock funds and even take blockchain snapshots.

In the unlikely event of Kraken ever coming online again, there will be a lot of panic withdrawals as nobody will ever trust them again. Kraken now face collapse regardless.

1. What particular issues is the dev team working on exactly?
2. Is it possible for Kraken to do a roll back to return to the old engine?
3. Why Kraken has not done a roll back?
4. Why does the Status page have infrequent updates? Last update was 8 hours ago.
5. How many developers are working on this maintenance?
6. Will the developer team work throughout this weekend on the maintenance?
7. When will the exchange be launched in view only mode?
8. When will deposit/withdraw for cryptos and fiat be enabled? "Withdrawals in all currencies will be offline for an additional 2-3 hours after other systems come online", does that mean after trading is enabled or the moment view only mode is enabled?

Well it really doesn't matter if he always post against Kraken. What matters is KRAKEN is doing exactly same as as another company that got hacked or raided by FBI. Kraken's attitude, replies are exactly same as those busted  exchanges.

Come one be realistic,  in any IT upgrade you have a backup, if upgrade fails and it takes long time then you simply roll back. simple as that!  But in Kraken's case they said it will take 2 hours, now its almost 48 hours!! and no update what so ever. instead, they are taking rest...    Even if they come back, no one will ever trust them and will take all the money out of kraken as soon as possible. so no matter what, KRAKEN is doomed!!

Free trading is NOT the compensation we deserve. I was about to sell 10 ETH at €1100 and rebuy at €850 before they fucked it all up. Therefore Kraken have denied me of €1500 easy profit. I'm pissed off to say the least. Even if they offered me the €1500 as compensation, I'd take it and then close my account!

Can you imagine any of us staying with Kraken after this? No, I thought not.

This ain't FUD (that was Polybius which is still below ICO price), it's real and most of us have lost out due to Kraken's major fuck-up!

BTW... My FUDing of Polybius, paid off handsomely, the tokens I bought at $3 recently sold for $13. FUD is good if it makes you money ;-)

Absolutely, "Krappen" will never recover from this. Just make sure you take everything out the moment it's back up before the mass exodus starts. Once people start bailing out, Kraken will lose all revenue and will have to close. I reckon they'll be gone within 2 weeks.

This whole thing stinks of a major hack or an inside job to steal all funds. The "update" is a smoke screen, don't be fobbed off by those cunts.

Why does that make me special? It ain't rocket science. Thousands have lost money by being unable to trade!

I was going to sell ETH at what I thought was the peak and then buy it back once the whales sold off and drove the price down. If they fucking stayed online when I wanted them to, I would have made about €1500 in about 2 hours. This has happened so many time with those cunts, that I'm taking out the fucking lot as soon as I log in. I've got a new account open with Binance who will hopefully stay online for more than 10 minutes.

Guys... this is serious stuff, Kraken is in deep shit and our funds are NOT safe! They are fobbing us off, they have lost everything, mark my words!

Wrong! I would've gained €1500 if I traded elsewhere, therefore I'm €1500 worse off due to yet another Kraken fuck-up.

Admit it... You're all withdrawing everything from Kraken as soon as you can log in. I have about £500 of XRP in there and that's moving the moment I can log in and trade. I will then set up a DDoS via VPN proxy (cloudfare bypass) to "test" how good their update is. I bet I can break them without too much trouble. They are NOT getting away with this, I will DESTROY Kraken if it kills me!
