If you follow the uptrend from Ethereum chart 📈 from January 2017 till now, you will see that ethereum as done nothing less than x110 of its current value as at 1st February 2017.
However, should ethereum repeat this feet in 2018 then it will be $132000/eth in twenty 2019.
Calculation:
1st February, 2017
Ethereum Price/$
1ETH = $11
10th January, 2018
Ethereum Price/$
1ETH = $1200
$1200/$11 = x109.091
If continue this uptrend in 2018 of which as started already and return another x109.091 by January, 2019. Price/ETH will be $132000/ETH. I think if happened last year, it can happen this year, buy at least 1 ethereum and hold. [/b] well its not far from reality,if we will check the ethereums flow the first quarter of 2018 we can see big rise in its value.just happen that theres an double issue about china and korea thats why the flow stopped.and all of the coins as well together with bitcoin. But im sure on the next quarter chances are ethereums price again may prove that he can continuously climb the mountain of the market price..and hopefully after how long ethereum will finally make a $2,000 growth and move forward from that |

In cryptocurrency, factually everything is possible. Ethereum is a solid project with so many potential to grow. Technically, Ethereum is better than bitcoin from smart contract to token creation and POS is not far from being implemented

Damn 10 000$ would be really crazy, Ethereum is going to switch to Proof of Stake and I think you need around 1000 ETH to be able to stake it on your node, imagine the price of each node at 10 million usd...
But yeah I dont think ETH can reach this price in 2018, but maybe it will be 5000$ in the next 5 years who knows.

Personally I believe ETH will reach 10k USD one day but your analysis is silly.
ETH made 100x last year, so ETH will make 100x again this year, very bad judgement. We might go in long bear market though.

I also think the same as you, Ethereum could reach 10k this year, but the market is not always logical so anything is possible. If Ethereum has enough supporters and partners this year then 10k USD is no longer a dream. In addition, Ethereum will go proof of stake, so I expect it to raise the price around 5k if the market is still bullish and Bitcoin is doing well.

yes you are right. Ethereum is a very strong and trustable coin . I am pretty sure it will see between $3000 and $5000 but not sure about $ 10000 honestly . It’s a little too much , especially for this year. Markets are not healthy now. Tho i would be more than happy if it sees 10k , i am a ethereum believer from the day one.

I don`t believe the ethereum will come to $ 132000. However, ethereum is just an altcoin or 'Child Coins', it`s unlikely that its price will exceed its parent price of 'bitcoin'. For this year alone bitcoin is predicted to increase only up to the price level of $ 22000 / $ 27000. I think $ 132000 is not a realistic price for ethereum. No way, 10 000 is so overestimated. Firstly I expect decrease till 500-600$ and then, after implementation of new network, ETH can significantly raise in value, maybe till 3000$

At the moment, altcoins will fall in price with sharp movements of bitcoin prices almost always. While altkoins are very dependent on bitcoin.
