yes it will be very difficult even can be spelled out eth price up to 10k. although eth is a good currency.
I think exchange rates are related to each other. if the btc price falls, other crypto prices also fall. so I think for 10k will be very difficult.
maybe eth price will reach 2k - 4k by the end of the year.

It will breack $10000 by the end of this year if bitcoin does not crash hard. Also there is a news saying that vitalik return to focus  building next update with proof of stake. And for me. Proof of stake is more reliable for scaling. It is not using alot of power to mine. At mid 2018 ethereum probably will break $4000 mark and then correction again.

considering the market crash  that are happening at the momment, I don't think ETH will reach $4k by the middle of the year..
I even doubt if ETH could reach $2k at the end of 2018..
Crypto is falling very hard, and will take a lot of time to recover ~

if the prediction that crypto price will be recovered within the end of the month it may happen that the value of eth will reach that value , comeback price is much higher sometimes so it is not impossible to reach that kind of value within midyear.

I like ETH as a technology and they are allowing people to come up with new token and we are seeing more tokens than we used to see before ETH ,but if the price of ETH reaches those valuation,it will be really difficult to transfer the tokens you purchase as the transaction amount you have to spend will be huge,so i do not expect the price to reach those valuation,$1 k is a good price.

Ethereum seems to be very strong even during this decline. And every day the number of projects with infrastructure is increasing. In this case it is not unreasonable to think that Ethereum will come at much higher prices.
