Bounty hunters should not go in for such Bounties, especially if it’s not from a reliable source. KYC is major information, anyone can take advantage of it.



However, there is a less probability to stop this practice as the number of bounty hunters is growing on a large scale, everyone is trying to get airdrops.

The bad thing is that anonymity of users is lost, since the cryptocurrency was originally thought up as anonymous currency without having to enter your data, for me the new rules are very strange

I have also encountered the same issue but have also noticed that most ICO's which have asked their ICO participants for kyc are the ones which ask for kyc from bounty hunters also. A way out of this could be to avoid ICO's which require kyc from ICO participants and promote ICO's that do not need ICO participants to do kyc.

KYC a ridiculous system for crypto world. Everyone here wants to stay anonymous and work that way.
It is stupid to hand over our identity to someone else to earn small bucks

sometimes there are some bounty that ask participants to provide data in order to get payment. so participants must provide in order to claim the payment.
I think it is one of the most disturbing things but there is also the positive side

Most of the participants want to remain anonymous and not go through the KYC identification procedure, and this will repel them from participating in the bounty. Reducing the number of participants will lead to poor advertising of the project.

- that can avoid bounty hunters from scamming a project (multiple account, etc.), the campaign will be more effective because it will be spreaded by more real people.

cons:
- cryptocurrency born to be annonymous? if yes, why we need a KYC?
- KYC is for a legal and registered company, if a project need a KYC from their supporter, they need to be a legal and registered company first. we dont want an illegal and unregistered company misused our private data.

It already looks like a kind of fraud. The fact is that these campaigns do not warn in advance that they will require additional data from the signatory campaigner and begin to demand them when the work has already been agreed. This can hardly be called a verification of the requirement to prevent persons with multiple accounts. otherwise such a check would be made before the signature campaign or in the process of it. The meaning of all additional data requirements, including identification data, precisely after the ICO has been completed,
 in my opinion, is to exclude as many people as possible from the applicants for the demand for a stipulated award. I believe that even at this stage the nomination of such requirements is unacceptable.

I really do not understand the reason behind this request. if it is for investors to do KYC, I have no issue may be the company want to be sure that the fund is from a clean source. but for a bounty hunter who did not invest a dime i really do not get it.

I am not comfortable giving up personal info at ICo's and even more so on the bounty campaigns. Having your personal docs sold in the dark web is really scary.

KYC for bounty hounter is less good although the purpose is to get evidence from the participants. but I think KYC is less suitable in the allocation for investors who follow a project. so if for bounty hounter is not right.

Will ,in my own opinion,i didnt't like this  kind of protocol of ICO, to the bounty hunters because its an additional burden to your work participation in the campaign,you must sacrifice mostly all your time in the bounty and in the end they doubtfull  to you,and they thinks your an other person,so for me there where is the justice.people joining the bounty to help the ICO campaign become more succesfull and not to  known the  personality  of the people.

I also don't understand why is it some of the projects are asking for KYC specially in bounty hunters.As far as i know bounty hunters are helping them to promote their projects and it doesn't make sense if they ask for KYC or no,the important is the project goes well.Knowing their personal identity is a big NO NO for me.

ICO participants have to fill up the KYC forms but I have never seen a bounty asking KYC form from the bounty hunters.
Anyway it is against the principles of crypto in both terms.
In a short period this platform will have no difference from the international banking system.

I am ever, wanted to claim the reward and was asked me to fill out the KYC form. I am dont know  what is the purpose someone told me to fill the KYC form. And filling it is very confusing because the fields requested on the form are not all in my identity. Then ask apload photo identity. Is it safe if my ID is known to others, I'm afraid if there are actions that will harm me.

It has good and bad two sides.Some of going for spamming and use Duplicate account. Its main cause for KYC.
Another bad effects is people who working, many pf people don't get their smart id card. For tha after hard work they can't get payment.  So sad about thinking this.

I don't find the fact that projects require KYC for bounties very disturbing. After all this usually implies that the project is legit. The thing that does disturb though is projects that require KYC when claiming tokens without clearly notifying it. This has been happening with many projects lately and it is extremely annoying.
