Bounty programs are asking bounty hunters to do KYC before they are paid for work done . What do you think of this development.

It is a good idea to have this kind of regulation because it can determined a multi-accounts that being put in one signature campaigns. Not all but there are so many bitcoiners doing this way just to gained a lot of token rewards. It will be a good corrective action if it will be totally regulate here in crypto world.

No, it is not good at all. This is just another collection of data, that no one knows what will happen with. Soon or later we will have scandal. I don;t participate in programs that require KYC.

It is a common myth that Bitcoin is ruled by a majority of miners. This is not true. Bitcoin miners "vote" on the ordering of transactions, but that's all they do. They can't vote to change the network rules.

I think that maybe there should be a limit from where the KYC should start for those ICOs that require it - for example if you earned rewards bigger than 1.000$.

Definitely I agree with you. This should have a limit. Give you$ 100, kyc wants. Ridiculous. Bounty hunters are not customers, they are supportive.

I think it is not good at all giving away your personal information. In the bounty campaigns, we are helping the ICOs to be known in different mediums and in return they will compensate the participant. Actually, I think if KYC is very important to all ICOs then all ICO should have imposed it.

I also think KYC for bounty campaigns is not good. I believe KYC should only for investors. It is important that the money is not stolen etc. But why need KYC to the usual bounty hunters? This is not logical. I can't understand the reason why they need all these documents of bounty hunters? Soon it will be for airdops is necessary to pass KYC. This is a complete nonsense

I think it is a risky move but since it is a policy, people are left with no choice. I don't really like the KYC policy because there is a possibility that data leaks occur.

Human error exists and there are criminal minds who wanted to steal information of people. It is dangerous. The responsibility of handling the private information safely rests in the hands of the ICO team. People trusted them and whatever happen, they are accountable.

I think this is a good mechanism to ensure the validity of the person. This is also a security measure for bounty hunters just in case a scam or a fraud will happen. I know that for some it is a bit sketchy, but just think of the consequences of not having kyc.

This is not okay for me because it can expose my identity here in crypto and maybe abuse by scammers or used by identity theft, even this can help with fake account in this forum but bounty hunters still used fake identity for their alt account, so this is useless then.

I think, KYC will be standart and become necessary in bounty. Many country now want to regulate ICOs and crypto trading so its need necessary for government asking detail about ICOs investor and who get involved in marketing campaign

I don't like KYC but I think if you trust the project and you can see a good future in it, so you can afford to do KYC. It really depends on the project. I mean who would give personal data to a scam project? Just deepen the project and study, then make decisions!

And why did they need the ID's?., It is personal belongings and maybe its delicate for us in the future, we are only just taking care of ourselves because we cannot avoid those people who maybe doing something that we dont want to do with us.

I have never passed KYC, but if asked, it should be at least a top-level Binance exchange. ICO with KYC is quite a promising business, but at the same time it's aspiring, because 90% of the scams or at least will work exclusively at the auction of the released token.

In my opinion, this will not progress . Every one needs a sense of privacy for their own security. I don't have to open myself to some ICOs offering bounty for supporting their campaign.

Submitting your identity in the name of bounty hunting is very risky, probably after the submission the identity documents can be sold out to some online sites who usually sell fake ID documentations, I belief this trend of KYC should totally be left out in bounty hunting, campaign managers should devise another means or method of detecting multiple account holder I.e cheaters.

kyc makes people think again to follow a bounty and I do not want this to happen, hopefully not many bounty that apply the rules and only ico buyers who apply it

this is very nice and new of course. I agree with this. register the KYC before accepting payment .. and I think this makes it difficult for individuals who have multiple accounts to receive payments in a single project.

I don't like bounty programs that ask their participants for kyc. Kyc is only for investor who like to invest. As a bounty hunter we don't need that because we are currently working under them to promote their ico. Aside from risking our documents maybe they will sold our info to other users which is bad.

For me it depends on the project. Last time I was paid for a bounty work that required a KYC the pay was quite high that's was I was ok with it. I don't think people behind the project will do wrong with our information anyways just be careful and just do KYC on projects you think has a future.

I think it is not necessary to do that. Normal investors that put in their money need to do KYC because the regulation want to project their investment. But for bounty hunters, there are no money put in. Just like airdrops in my opinion.
