Greets folks.. we just opened our site BitCard 7/8/2011. We sell all types of trading cards(sport cards,pokemon,magic,etc...) Why is this being posted here? One of our primary payment options are Bit Coins. You are currently only able to choose USD or BTC from the currency menu.

Come check us out(stock being updated daily)

Unlike traditional banking where clients have only a few account numbers, with Bitcoin people can create an unlimited number of accounts (addresses). This can be used to easily track payments, and it improves anonymity.

Would it be proper to consider this an update thread? Or would it be better off in the off-topic section(even though I accept bitcoins among other forms of payment).

EDIT: Ok, now that's out of the way... there's currently 107 products on the site. 1/2 of em are pokemon, other half arebaseball(seems folks like their yu-gi-oh cards? *shrugs*)

Sorry, I'm too paranoid to click on a URL that looks like the ones in my email spam folder.

I dont blame you. I don't have the $70+ to throw at a dot com or I'd have one.
I invite anyone and everyone to put our site to the test. Our wallet is through MyBitCoin and our paypal is verified.

$70? You need to do some shopping.

Hypermart wants $70 for domain registration. The site itself is like $8. My host x10hosting offers similar packages but again: too broke to do that, so I get what I get.

Seriously, go do some shopping. .com domains cost around $20.

I have and no they don't. Not that bitcard.com,net,org is available. I tried.
Point's still valid that I do not have any cash to set up a domain outside of my free housting.
Unless someone wants to step forward and offer this, I'm sticking with my free domain and saving what little money I have from public assistance.

One of my Second Life buddys directed me to a free domain host so here we go...

http://thebitcardstore.tk because bitcard.tk was taken(go figure).

I hope to make this site popular since it is the first of its kind(cards for bitcoins).
Still won't go dot com till we start making money at this.

Just a quick update before the hatemail starts to pour...

If anyone's been over the site within the past 5 or so min and notice it's down, all X10 servers are down atm  explanation. I was going to post happy news but this came out instead -.- I'll post again when it's up.

-Matt

EDIT: Everything's back up and running again. This happens every now and then(it's free hosting so I can't complain).

seems like that's what it's going to take since I'm full legit.
I'm paypal verified to handle unlimited transactions and in any ammount.
Bitcoins go to mybitcoin.com wallet(I trust them, haven't been wrong yet).
I'm always adding cards to the site and their cards that are either donated to us or we go out and get them.
I don't know what else I have to do to get people to at least even go the site and look around. Folks are looking at the thread and passing... not cool.
