Split this amount for three part, first one (the biggest) like 300$ invest in coins which are the best on market like etherum or bitcoin, than like 150$ invest in coin which price is low like waves or neo, and the last part invest in thrash coins which can pump in near future.

First of all welcome to the world of crypto which gives endless opportunities. Having said this you need to be more cautious as the market is very volatile and comes with a huge risk.

I would suggest you to follow some of the steps before investing into any of the assets.

a. Go to coinmarketcap / crypto compare and look at the coins which are available in the marketplace. It would be a good idea to study top 20 coins to Start with.
b.  Once you zero down to the coin selection start evaluating them.
c. Read Whitepaper
d. Understand Token economics
e. Understand the usability of the Tokens, check for the working Product.
f. Figure out why the coins are on the top of the Chain and why there are laggers as well - this will help you to understand the project in details when you compare them.
g. Look through the team, vision & usability of the product in short term & long term.
h. Zero down to the 5 Projects and then invest wisely in 5 different projects (Never Put all your eggs in one basket)
i. Never Fall prey to FOMO, always wait for a correction to enter.
e. Listen to what people are saying but DYOR before investing in any asset. People will keep on recommending a new coin every day, but only take decisions based on your own research.

These are few points which I have learnt over the last couple of months in my journey.

The best way is to multiple your capital, invest in coins and tokens. You will indeed gain profits and your capital size would get vast. Trade, mine, gample and do more to earn. Look out for best ICOs and its projects. Invest in these ICOs. Less investment, more turnover when listed in exchanges with more values.

I think the important thing to do is to do some in-depth research on the ICO before buying and not just through some hear say rumors about them going to the moon.

My criteria of a good ICO is that:
1. It must be an existing business for a few years with a good model, and have even bigger feasible plans for the reason of doing an ICO.
2. Team composition and advisors are next that I look at, idea can be great but without a strong team, it wouldn't give me sufficient confidence that their plans can be executed without delays, that is if it's ever executed.
3. Next thing would be how unique their business plans are, I realised many ICOs are basically copying ideas from existing businesses, tweek abit and calling it theirs, hence it comes back to the point of why it must be a running business for at least a couple of years.

In my opinion,making huge profit from an ICO is more possible than form investing a coin/token because investment in cryptocurrency a lot of risk. I think,A $500 investment won,t result in a huge return if you are investing in BTC or ETH right now,but it is a safer option.
